OK, I installed a dual pillar a few years ago, no problem, it slips over the stock cover. HOW the heck do you put the FULL pillar in? I will guess that it does NOT snap in? Does it replace the OEM or go over it? Also, I have a tweeter speaker (not being used) but ordered a triple pillar without the tweeter. Will this work or do I have to send it back? Do you drill holes in the A pillar and just push the little plugs into the holes? Read the dirs, couldn't figure it out. .

Thanks

Use the triple as a replacement for the factory cover. I put a cage nut in the upper slot in the pilar (metal), and drilled a hole in the cover, and ran #12 bolt to secure the triple cover.

I think? I figured out what you do. It seems to slip nicely over the OEM like the dual pillar. Of course, once I hacked the mess out of the original tweeter lump. .

Yep you have to mutilate the original cover. If I had to do it again I would just do as Straight6Jeff said.

Just a suggestion, but, if you have a tweeter on your present pillar, you may want to return it for one that has the the tweeter outlet.

Mine fit over the stock one just fine with some "fine tuning" for fit. I feel like it gives it a little more support.

I am installing the same triple cover and gauges, Just need to find the time!

1) How did you run the wires & tubes from the gauges out?

2) How did you attach the top so it wouldn't flop around?

3) Did you use the little plugs to hold the top tight?

Thanks, scott

1) Hacked a HUGE hole in the original pillar cover (where my unused tweeter was) and ran them through there. Ran them down the column and through a large grommet on firewall to all of the senders. .

2&3) The top? I am using 1/8 inch rivets and the 4 little plugs it came with, painting the rivet heads black.
