I'm considering upgrading my convertor and valve body with a Dunrite. Has anyone else done this change, and if so what was your experience?

I installed a tripple disk and the valve body To get his warranty you have to also instal a billet input shaft. I like the shifts and the manual lockup switch that was installed. He will also any warranty one major breakage . Sometime Tony is a hard person to get a hold of and to deal with if you have a problem with his stuff.

Michael at HotRodDiesels.com built my transmission with Dunrite valve body and requested Dunrite Triple Disc TC with custom stall. Lots of other parts Piers billet shafts, etc. went in. The TC and Transmission have held up great. Been in for over 40,000 miles now and lot of hard runs at the track.

on my old truck (2nd gen) i installed a dunrite single disc TC and valve body. I towed heavily (~15k), was chipped and injectored and put over 80k on it without a single problem. I thought Tony was first class and was very easy to get a hold of when i had questions. He even spent about 2 hours on the phone working with the transmission shop that I used, when the bonehead at the transmission shop couldn't figure out how to do a couple of things. All in all I was happy with Tony's product and service and would definitely use it again. Of course my new truck came with a DTT already in it, which I am happy with, but if anything happens to it I will go back in the dunrite direction. Hope that helps.
