Dunrite Performance Converter

Looking at geting a single disk tq from Dunrite. I am also looking at his shift kit. It also offers the remote switch to lock up the converter at will. Anyone run his stuff. My trany died and I need to fix it.

I'd recommend a Goerend Brothers converter and valve body. You won't pay much more, but you'll get a quality unit that won't puke out.

I decided to have the 47RH in my 94 rebuilt at 172K when it began to act a little funky and I wanted some more power. So on top of a full rebuild with upgraded seals I had Rob Gates at SourceAutomotive install the dunrite VBkit and singledisc TC (rated at 450hp). Right now I have just a little over 25K on the rebuild and its worked great for me. Held 370hp 890tq just fine.

I run Tonys goods in my trans. Works great and holds what i can throw at it. But there is always room for more power.
