Well this sucks truck stolen over weekend

32 valve Cummins?

Okay, today I was I 20 leaving Dallas headed back to east texas. I'm in my new 01 3/4 ton 6 speed ho towing my trailer and a tractor w/ equipment (towed load around 10,000 lbs. ). Anyway, I come up on a new 1 ton duramaxie pulling a "small" boat. We exchanged glances and after passing him, he passed me. I passed him again a few miles later and what do you know he passes me again and it appeared to me that he was intentionally trying to pull away from me. Needless to say, I wasn't gonna let that happen. So I boosted those egt's up and passed him again, this time I didn't look back. About an hour later I stopped for fuel and after finsihing I saw the duramaxie pull up beside me to do the same. The owner was very friendly and walked over to me and we started talking. He looked puzzled and asked what after market products I had added to my cummins. I explained to him that it was basically bone stock. He looked puzzled and said that he did not understand how the cummins left him in the dust because the chevy dealer assured him that he had the most powerful diesel on the road. I responded" I guess not" then got in my truck smiled big and drove off.

He needs to drink more beer. :)

His first mistake was believing the Chevy dealership and his second mistake was___________ . Well, I'm thinking you guys can fill in the rest?

The tests have shown that the 6BTA pulls a load better than the Duramax. #'s are a great way to sell trucks... real world tests prove which is the one to buy.

You sell HP, but drive torque... . a V8 diesel struggles all it's life to put out a decent amount of torque. Our inline-6 has a big-heavy-sturdy lower end with a long stroke that may take longer to get going, but once it builds inertia... it keeps going and keeps the load moving without slowing down as much.

I love my inline-6... . I have driven the others and won't go back.

Matt - Cummins, the only way to go with 6-in-a-row!

That's what happens when you test drive the literature instead of the truck :D Asking the sales person if the their truck is better is like asking the waiter/tress if the foods good  Duh!
