duramax sites equal to tdr?

my brother-in-law purchased an 06 duramax. not too smart i know, but he'd like to know if there are any duramx sites similar to tdr. any help would be appreciated, thankyou

I don't believe there is a site that comes anywhere near the number of people on TDR, but there are some forums (I don't remember the names). Just do a google search for Duramax forums or diesel forums and you should bump into them.

Yeah there are no duramax sites that come close to TDR.

last i saw if you have a problem with your dmax they call you a troll because they dont have problems. might have been one bad thread but most of them seemed like aholes. there are a few on nwbombers and other small sites that are a little nicer.

Ya, I know what you mean, my last company I worked at before I retired bought me a 05 GM D/A 5spd(LLY) for a service truck (about 9000 GVWR with service bed) and the MPG was 10 avg. and the power was OK when starting off the line but when cruising at 60 and trying to pass it was just horrible (pedal to the floor and going nowhere) so I checked out TDP.com and was shocked to read all the problems the D/A has. As you can imagine they jumped on me the first time I noted this in a thread I started, to find out if this was normal and other feedback on MPG because my sig listed my Ram with a and the D/A with a . If you want to read my posts my user name is the same as TDR. If you like to read commercials for the D/A just check out the TDP. The last and final thread I participated in they called me names and could not respond to my challenges until a moderator locked me out and then they pilled up on me and then after 20 posts invited me back in, the thread was about the Edmunds grade pull which placed the D/A first if you want to read it, after which I told them to go **** themselves and have not been back. I would not recommend this site to anyone not even a D/A owner, they will find out they overheat all the time and blows engines due to glowplugs failing and need reflashing all the time for a lot of different reasons. They like to preach to the choir on that site.

TheDieselPlace.com is the best dmax forum I've seen. I had a dmax before I got into the cummins thing, and I've been a member since 2003. The website has a lot of good info, and actually has a lot of competitive people that share info. Just like any other forum, some are die hard dmax, and cut down all other brands. I'm a die hard diesel guy, so I like kinda keeping up with all makes.
