Competition Simple Performance In Relation To Temp Question

Hoot, Do you still wish you had your old D-max now? I havent seen you here in TDR lately but I have seen you at TDP I though you might have went back to the darkside.

Hows the TST working for you?

Looking forward to seeing Stephan's truck in person at the latter part of this month. This should be good. From what I've heard, it is fast.

Perhaps... It wold be interesting to see what that does on the Dyno... I think that Stephan should come to Denver for the TDR Summit. Maybe he could put down more HP than Clint's DMax on the same Dyno, same day, etc... :-laf (See who's transmission can handle all that power... Single turbo vs. Compounds... )

edit: same Dyno, same day... . ;)

Had I of known someone with a Dmax two years ago that was willing to do a twin set it would have been built then. In this case Stefan asked me if I'd be interested in building twins on his truck and I said yes. That was last August or September and we originally planned on doing it around Thanksgiving. Well it took until this January before we could work out a time that worked for both of us. This twin setup is totally underhood and actually looks really nice when installed. I would say it even looks better then the Dodges.

I dont know why anyone who has driven a properly setup twin truck would even consider removing them. So I have to wonder why Clint did? I heard he blew a headgasket or two but that should have been a easy fix.

Nathan talked about doing twins awhile ago as Nathan stated, then we talked about Clints that were under the truck, had a good chuckle then said lets build a real set. :-laf

Another thing if those twins you built worked so well why wouldn't you still have them on? Is it because of that single that was gonna be ready 7 months ago?

Or, in his case, a little coolant runoff. :-laf

Ahhh, so that's why the truck does a little sway when it's launched, must be something with directing the air. :-laf

Oo. Oo. Oo.

#1 Who ever said they worked well?

#2 I am sure that most normal people would call it product development, but in your case I will make an exception. ;)

The Aurora line was ready at the last May Madness on the truck running.

This is a hobby for some of us, Stefan. The forums are supose to be a discussion area for the facts. Quit pulling stuff out of your butt and quit down talking people, I believe most are tired of it. :)

Drag Diesel is it true that you work for ATS?

The guys on the Diesel Place I'm sure would be surprised to hear that these chargers have been ready since May Madness, because I haven't heard anyone that has bought one.

About the pulling stuff out of my but comment maybe you should look at you first post before you whine to everyone. :{

Nathan ,put your dmax jigs away and bring on the cummins twins. My duramax is for work my cummins is for play. Probably different than the norm,oh well. How do your guys trucks compare?

It wont be on the dyno until the 27th at DDP's dyno day. Johnathon (Got Juice?) should be sporting twins by then as well. His is a LB7 and Stefans is a LLY. Plus the delay gives us some road testing time to make sure we dont have issues.

JDavy,

The sooner I get the Dmax stuff behind me the sooner I get back to the Dodge stuff ;) .

Nathan

I was just kidding,I am not in any rush, roads stay icy till april around here. Having a set of twins in my truck would be torture. On the Dmax do you have to pull the transmission to do the install?
