Duramax with Industrial Injection Silver Bullet Turbo

This is one of my friends trucks. That is tuned by one of our buddys. He's running one of my transmissions. With a Silver Bullet from NGM Diesel. Thanks Wade.

"Bobo tunes a 03 LB7 into the 11's today. Went to the track today w/ Big Striss's 03 reg cab. He doesn't post much so I will give you the details. It has a silver bullet turbo w/ a 66mm intake wheel BD ped. & down pipe w/ stock injectors & single CP3. We didn't plan on going to the track today 'cause the weather wasn't suppose to be nice today and my truck was out of commission ... ... more to come later about that dilemma . He ran it w/ full tank of #2 , no tailgate & missing the 2nd battery and that's it. It has 285/75/16 BFG All-terrains on stock aluminum, t-bars drop, Caltracs, Cognitos and sleeves First run was a 12. 371 @ we were happy but his 60's were only 1. 990 but his MPH was 111. 72 so we knew it had more in it. He had a few 12. 04 & 12. 03 runs. Here are a few slips with his 11's & one w/ a 12. 049 w/ a 1. 688 60. Great job Bobo on the tuning!!! This thing rips!





I don't what was more fun today... . getting Kyle's truck to run 11's or ******* off the Ford Lighting Club that were there today. The track announcer was really ribbing those guys when Kyle rip off his 11 second pass. There was a 06 Cadillac STS there today that a guy put a 87 3. 8 GN motor & trans in it. It ran a 11. 16 "

Well back to the track today with a 11. 83 sec@111mph.

Plan on going again tomorrow with the video camera for all the nay sayers.

We did replace the clamps with the proper ones on the intercooler tube before pushing the turbo. The truck is a real hay hauler. Next year this truck will propably be in the 10's.

Don't know this set is only 7 months old. I run 2 micron filtration and approved lube. 2 are completely dead. Didn't know a Duramax could run on 6 cylinders but have been for a couple weeks.
