Texas Diesel,

Look in the bottom right corner of the message you want to quote from and click on the Quote button. This will open a reply screen with the original message enclosed between bracketed "Quote" symbols. You can go up to that message, edit out the part that is not applicable, and then enter your reply below the "/Quote" symbol as normal. :)

TxDiesel, that is what I was trying to say. I just didn't want you to be frustrated because a lot of people don't like that brand. Also if a guy don't want to know he shouldn't ask because he may get the wrong answer or one he don't want to hear. That is why they call it an opinion, everybody has one. I have heard the same thing about the Montana trailer but I think they are a good looking trailer. I am glad for you and your trailer. Will prolly get to see it at the rally.

Lets see how it works. :)

Well I have been RVing for over 30 years and I did own a Dutchmen it was the biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned. Towing down I5 we came through a little rough road in a construction area not real bad just a little rough. The first thing I watched was my sewer hoses shooting out of each side of the trailer. I pulled over to notice I had also bent both axels. Also this trailer had a slide that leaked all of the time. Just remember "If its Dutch it aint much" or is it "If it aint Dutch it's not much";)

I think these posts about being able to express our opinion when asked for it, stems from the 2 posts that started the personal attacks instead of the original issue. They are probably owners of Dutchman campers and got their feelings hurt, and the only way they knew to "get back" was the personal attack. It seems the rest of us agree that an opinion was asked for, and opinions simply were given.

Okie - in Tex City.

I'll be coming to your area from Montana here in a couple of weeks. Will be staying in Galveston Dellanera RV park on the beach just south of where the seawall ends. My son is in the Coast Guard stationed there. He's having trouble with getting brakes on a 99 1/2 ton Dodge pick up there in Galveston. Would appreciate an e-mail from you if you know of a GOOD DC dealer in that area.

Thanks,

Steve H
