Eric, sounds like you got a good deal! What model is it so I can go check it out. Ours has a free standing dinette, hide a bed sofa instead of the jiffy bed couch, bedroom slide, heated tanks, cabinet upgrade, BIG recliner, and a few more options. It's used but clean. We pondered whether we wanted to hold off for a newer left over but it's what we wanted in '00 when we bought the Quest. I have pics but don't have a clue how to post pics. Here's a link to the 2002 293RKS.

I just took my blinders off and there's the link! :D

BWilson ,

I see the subject is Jayco Vs Ductman, but since it seems to have wondered off I'll put my $. 02 in.

I looked around for a good rear bunk layout (around 30') and ended up with a ThorCalifornia Jazz 2780BH. It has the EXACT same floor plan as the ForestRiver Wildcat, but has some extra goodies. It is the only floor plan the wife & I agreed on. Great for the kids too. Just a thought - might want to check it out. I actually bought it in Jackson, MI.

Very very nice Steve. I like the floor plan. :D

That link I put a few posts back should take you there. It's the 830Y.

Eric

Edit:

WOT my trailer looks very much like the interior pics of your Jazz on the link you put up. Cabinets, colors slideout, and window locations. I like it!!:D

That's a nice one! I like the two chairs in the rear. That's a big guy too! 31'! Floor plans keep changing. We'll likely keep ours until we get the Durango and Ram paid off and maybe trade ours for a new one. The prices for new fifth wheels is unreal.

You should have seen the 5er that was next to mine. 3 slide outs, one wall in the BR was a mirror. :p Un freakin believeable.

I had to get out of it because I was drooling all over. :D

It was marked at 29K "show special" but mine was also marked with a show special price I got a few grand off of.

Eric

Our front wall, actually the closet doors across the front of the bedroom are mirrors. I don't know if that's good or bad at 41 years old.

I've noticed the same thing at the shows. They really mark the prices down. We have huge RV shows here in the Tampa Bay area although this past show was a small turnout from the dealers. The shows seem like a good way to get a good deal if you see what you want. We saw a Travel Supreme Express at the last show that was hard to leave behind but not practical to buy either.
