Dyna Beads....

Anyone using them? i will be ordering some on the first. they are simple, you can do it yourself and it seems cost effective... .

im just looking for any input. the 19. 5's are a lil bit of a pain to balance. a few OTR tire stores have tried to sell them to me, but want anywhere from 125 to 250 to do all 4 tires. i read on the website it can be done in a driveway without removing the tire from the truck. this is a huge bonus for me as i live in an appartment right now...



said to be better on the tires and rims than equal and more effective. purchasing the dyna beads means i wont have to purchase centrimatics either...

I put them in my stock BFG 17" LT tires. . Ended up having to have the tires dismounted, beads removed and tires re-balanced traditionally.



Innovative blamed the tires, but they were fine with standar wheel weights. .



I considered it a $200 lesson learned. .



I will say the Alligator V2B Double Seal Valve Cap are awesome...

the centrimatics wont solve my balance issue. i have two tires that didnt want to play by the rules when they balanced them. that is one issue about aluminum rims i dont like. weight placement is limited. once i figure out what i am going to do to solve this, if it isnt a constant balancing system (dyna beads, Equal, golf balls, mouse balls... ) then i will get centrimatics...



keep the input pouring in, good or bad i want to hear it all... .

Get a large syringe, open your old antifreeze bottle. Remove the valve core, inject about 60cc of antifreeze/water into your 245/75-R 19. 5, inflate and your done!!!!

Some say antifreeze in the tires will balance them just like the beads will. I have dyna-beads. I spent around $80 and did it myself. So far, so good on my 35" dirtgrips.

same thing beads, or Equal or golf balls do. it just goes to the "lighter" spots on the tire balancing it out. i worry about placing anything liquid in my tires though. it just seems it would deteriorate the rubber a bit faster. antifreze seems like a better choice than rubber though... ill have to consult my chemist (A. K. A. Dad... lol) about this one, see what he says

I ran them in my 35" Toyo M/T's and they worked great. Get their applicator bottle and just be patient when putting the beads in. It took me about 10-15 minutes per tire. Check your valve stems. The first set of valve stems I had were to long and did not work with the filtered cores from Innovative. I had to have the valve stems replaced with shorter ones. After that all was good.

Dynabeads didn't work at all on the 36" TSLs I have on my Jeep. Actually I think it would be better without them. Have heard bad about Dynabeads from MANY people... Basically the same symtoms I have with them. Constantly balancing and unbalacing.

I have beads in a couple of vehicles, it seems to me that they work well if the tires only have balance issues. I'm often subject to ice and snow build up and I find the beads do a fine job of adjusting to these conditions.

My winter tires are mounted on an OE set of chrome Ram wheels, they have a lip that allows water to lay , this often results in that water freezing and giving me a balance problem, the beads have solved this.

I just put about 150 BB's in each tire, as a $4 experiment. My observations are that it did help quite a bit, but it is still not as good as a properly tradionaly spin Balanced tire. My problem, is that I cannot find anyone who can make my duals balance correctly, so the reason for BB's. All in all I am happy with them, & will leave them in. If you hit a big enough pothole, they will come out of balance for a second or two, but that beats being out of balance all day long... ... P.

i have been considdering airsoft pellets. . a little less harsh on the rim on a stop. the problem is it would take a TON of them to do the job... we are talking a few thousand for all 4 tires...

I've been running the Counteract balancing beads in my 315 70X17 BFG ATs mounted on H2 rims for 12K miles and no problems so far. Cut the bags and dumped the beads in directly, 8 0z. per wheel. Rotate every 6K... rotation due now. No preceptable wear and no unusual ride or handling issues. So far... so good! BTW, I got 70K out of the first set of 315 70X17 BFG ATs mounted on stock alloy wheels with conventional balance weights, again rotated every 6K.

Stress-free use of golf balls

I put 4 golf balls in each of the 22. 5 tires on my motorhome 7 years and 15,000 miles ago. No other weights... so far so good.

I've used antifreez/water in my tractor wheels )Kubota)for years.
