Has anyone out there done a lockable type front hub conversion such as what Dynatrac is advertising? looks like a nice system , price seems ok, is anyone familiar with it?

Pretty much a bolt on affair...

The only two hard parts were removing the hub bearings and changing the ujoints. Make sure you check you balljoints first.

Have had mine on for about 4 months now. Truck drives better, steers better, and mpg increased 1 to 1. 5 depending on driving conditions. Only complaint is that the black paint rusted through almost immediately. Also, you'll have to find a machine shop to cut holes in the plastic wheel center covers unless you want the lugs/nuts/and axles showing. Had a local mechanic do the install. He had to use a torch to heat the u-joints for removal. He was impressed with the quality and overall ease of installation. No regrets so far - a "must" if you plan to keep the truck several years and drive it 150K - 200k miles.

I take it your truck is a SRW truck?

I take it you converted a 3500 SRW truck? Not a 3500 dually, I can't tell what you have from your signature. I'm still considering how to do this with the hub extensions on a dually. Ken Irwin

I have a 03 Dually and have spoken to Carol at Arrowcraft. Great person to deal with. I think they are supplying Dynatrac with that AA4 adapter soon. I'm kind of waiting to see how that goes before buying the kit.

Alphacowboy - Was that on a 03 + truck ?

It's my understanding that the AA4 adapter has 5/8" studs at the wheel. Does anybody know if the stock steel dually wheel will fit with 5/8" studs ? Arrowcraft says might have to ream the stock wheel lug nut hole to fit, but you do that then that means those front wheels will only fit on the front and what about the spare ?
