Started this project today, big very big mistake to work on you truck on Valentines day. What was I thinking duh. Spend the day working on truck or spend day with girlfriend, any other day other than her b-day I think I would have been fine. Making progress and steps back. Started this whole project because the U-joints went bad should have ordered ball joints at the same time. Want to do everything at once. So have everything apart and waiting for ball joints. Things came apart easy except for the knuckles which took some banging to knock loose. Penatrent, heat and more banging. The u-joints have been a bit of a pisser as well. An impact gun makes life much easier.

i run M/T classics 17X9 with BF goodrich 285's as they have less backspacing the dynatrac are just about flush with the outside edge of the tire. tires also have about 25K on them and are wearing excellant should get at least another 30K out of them, so the offset hasn't affected alignment or tire wear.

So much better, the steering is much smoother. I suppose the new ball joints have alot to do with this but everything is much better. Wheel mount location stays the same no change to the knucles or other steering componets no change in turning radius. From the wheel mount surface the Dynaloc hubs measure just about 5 1/4" I have pictures of install but need to resize in order to post we'll see about that.
