Looks like combining this kit with the dynatrac freespin hub conversion could solve the problem with the current version of hub sticking out a foot on each side.

i haven't called them yet but it looks promising.

i sure hope it's what i think it is. take a look.

Good question. Looks like they need to do something. They stick way out there on a SRW truck.

Wouldn't be a problem on a dually, since we have an extension for dually rims.

Thanks to a siezed u joint, I'm looking at free wheeling while I have the front end apart. Is Dynatrac the only one making a converstion kit for the 2004 Dodge?

Thanks,
Dave

Installed the EMS kit, they do stick out, about 4 inchs more than stock
hub cap, The inner and outter bearings have more seperation than OEM,
steers better...
SO FAR, 3k miles, Very satisified... .

Can use low range for moving truck camper in tight and steep places without
the drive train binding,
Also I believe an increase in MPG need to re calcuate my mpg from the last trip,

AND, REAL GREESEABLE BEARINGS. .

i've had no luck verifying if any short hub kit will work with the AAM's from dynatrac or ems. i'm not doing this conversion unless there's a shorter version. any one know if this works yet?

measured the differance from stock hub cap,
2 1/4 inches is how far the
EMS Warn Hub sticks out compared to stock hubcap.

On a dually do they stick out past the hubcap since there is a spacer on the front axle (between the rim and axle)?
