"OCTOBER SHOWDOWN 2002"

Northeast Huge Seafood Wrench Challenge

Thanks to David Dunbar of Diesel Performance Motorsports, we'll be having a dyno day on Saturday, November 2nd.

Our fellow Kentuckian and friend, Dennis Perry of TS Performance, is bringing up a few friends with Fords & Dodges from Western Kentucky, to join the party. All are welcome, but no spark plugs, please :D :D :D

Briar's Dyno Day

Hey Tom!!

Sounds like a good time to be had in Cynthiana. Let us know about time etc.

Do you need a medium size fan to hold any Duramaxes on the rollers so we don't hafta strap 'em down?

See ya'll soon:) .

Cousin Billy

No fan needed, Billy, we've got those motorcycle tie-down straps from WalMart laying around the shop somewhere. . :D

The event is all day Saturday, I expect the fun will officially get going at 9:00 Eastern, but we may be earlier, we may be later. :D

CARAVAN!

Who all would like to caravan down?

If you all are thinking of going from Indiana to Black Mountian give me a call @ 502 693-4768 and we will meet up around Louisville KY or just north of!

Scott,

I'll be heading down that way about 6:00am. Takes about 2 hours to get there from my house. Maybe less now that I know were I'm going. :)

Darrell

Tom;

I'm gonna try and head up for the event. I missed your grand opening, so I gotta get up there sometime.

Josiah

I am hoping to get away from Atlanta Friday morning to head towards Tom's place. Pulling that heavy dyno, I will need a little extra time for the trip. ;)

I hope to setup Friday night so we are ready to roll first thing Saturday morning. I want to be able to get everyone up and I will be doing 3 pulls per dyno so it will take a bit longer per truck. Will be fun though. :D

Tom, Thanks for the invite up. I hope Talledega was fun.

Tom, just spoke with Will today and I'm planning on a casual visit this Wed. just to kinda sit around (hmm. . 4 hour drive just to sit around?  :-laf ) ... ... naw really I'm bringing a couple of powerjoke buddies to take a "shut up" ride in that Big Bad Black Dually!:D Oo.

But now that you have the dyno in November looks like I'll be burning another tank of fuel! Oo. Oo. :-laf :-laf

SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD REASON TO SMOKE UP THE COUNTRY SIDE. I'M PLANNING ON GOING. LET ME KNOW WERE TO MEET BY LOUISVILLE.

DARREL, IF YOU THINK YOU COULD HANDLE THE EXTRA WEIGHT IN THE TRUCK COULD YOU BRING MY MANUALS ALONG. PRETTY PLEASE!!!

SEE YA THERE E. T. /PATTI

Tom...

I am going to try and make this one after missing the grand opening show. I'll see at MIR if any other of our chapter members are up for a road trip and drop you a email.

David...

Is this a mobile Dyno-jet and can it handle the dually trucks without removing the outside wheels??. I only ask so those who come with them can be better prepared for this. The mobile ones I have been on have only the capabilities to handle a single wheel truck. Let us know... ... Andy

Tom, don't know if you spoke with Will about it but I cancelled Wed. after all of my friends backed out, but gave them notice of November 2nd so I hope to have a big group of my friends coming to watch and enjoy.

I remember something about a camp ground not to far from the shop? Can you tell me about that because my plans are to drive up Friday evening after work, and then be at the shop bright and early.

Also have a friend who wants to know what its gonna cost to put a truck on the dyno (I wanna know too!;) )? If you don't wanna post it just PM so we can be prepared if we decide to hook to the dyno.

Thanks,

Mark

They've been under the rear seat for a while now. Seems to give me a little more traction. :D

Darrell

So who all is planning on going? I'm coming up Friday evening and staying in a hotel so I can be there when everything starts Saturday morning. :D Oo.

Hey Tom, Will said performance mods = free dyno would that include a BHAF? ;) :-laf

Hammer, yes I can handle the dually's without removing wheels. It's just a matter of aligning them up properly so a wheel is not on the edge of the drum. Did 3 today. :)

I live on the north side of Indy and am planning on going with maybe one other northside GLTDR member. Any one want to meet say in Columbus to convoy to Louisville to hook up with the others to convoy to Cynthiana?
