Jeff

I almost bought a comp last night from Scott. Although I didn't, However, if someone were to buy my Edge EZ for a good price and Scott just happened to have a boxe with that special little plate... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . :D

Then, my wife would be mildly upset with me:eek: She thinks the truck is fast enough. When she said that, I said it was (right after all the initial work was finished), but being fast enough doesn't last long, BOMBing is an addiction... ... ... ..... she just didn't buy it. :(

But you'd be helping the economy out by getting the box. See a small businessman would be making a sale, the fuel industry would be boosted due the excessive smoke, the tire companies would be see you more. See my point, many aspects of the economy would be boosted by the purchase of one little box. This could be the purchse that changes the whole country.

Of course your wallet would suffer in direct proportion to the boosted economy. Ok, I'm gonna retake that economics course.

anyone see my BEER??

Uh Jeff, we're picking up the beer tonight! I belive Scott will let Fred and I test the keg out to make sure the beer is fresh for everyone tomorrow:D

Thank you for the economics lesson... ... . I will try to pass this on to the wife tonight. I will just leave the last part out:eek: :D

Never took economics (isn't that to prevete carpal tunnel, or something like that?:D ) so it sounded good to me!

Looks like I would have faile economics then:rolleyes:

Rain rain, GO AWAY!

How the heck am I supposed to wash & wax my truck to beat out HeyBoss's shiny toy when Its RAINING  ;)

Who's bringin the D&D Coffee

Batman won't see this till Monday

Okay all, I happen to know that Batman does all his online activity from work which means he won't see this till Monday (if you value fun at all, please don't tell him).

My crystal ball tells me:

1) I'll be helping him collect the stats and email addresses

2) I'll also have my camera and might get in a picture or two myself

3) **** Batman has an excellent chance at selling me his EZ so he can buy the Comp

I don't want him to get swell headed or anything, but George is about as nice a guy as they come. So I wouldn't want to do anything unfair, dishonest, or mean. I don't even have anything specific in mind. It just strikes me as an interesting plot development--maybe we can find a way to put a Comp under the Christmas tree for George????

Happy Holidays,

Matt

Matt

I won't see this until Monday???????/ Hugh:confused:

What have you been smoking:D

Looky looky what I found, Don't forget I'm at Freddies getting things upset. . uh setup for tomorrow:eek:  The uh. smoke in here is a little thick:D ... ... ... ... ..... Diesel that is:(

I value fun very much, maybe this can be an early Christmas gift from Scott Claus... ... I mean Santa Rodrigues... ... . oh he!! old St. nick. :D :D

See you in the am!!!!

Possibly with a comp???

Easy there buddy, now just slowly lift your fingers from the key board, OK good now do the same on your left hand, sit back and relax. All the pollution in RI (by the way RI is a state, use capital letters) comes from the neighboring states, so we are a very clean state. By the way you wouldn't want me to take a leak in your pool so don't smoke in my state:D :D

Are you coming??? hope to see you there and having a ball

See ya.

Fred.

Warning, wash and wax can be contagious and addictive similar to bombing:rolleyes:

By the way you can wash and wax all you want and I'll still have more wax hp then you:) that's until of course you decide to trade up to a dually:D :D

See ya there, looking forward to this event , got go catch some sleep before it catches me. ;)

Caught red handed!!

Okay, okay, Christmas is a time for well intentioned deviousness. Only moments after posting, I found out that MASSDIESEL and Batman were all at HeyBoss' getting set up for Saturday. Shineboy was online with Batman looking over his shoulder. At least Scott was nice enough to wait till he got off the phone with me to shout, "Hey George, guess who wants to buy your EZ?"

..... normally Batman can't be reached online over the weekend.

What a day, what a day. We ran 17 trucks through the dyno, and could have run quite a few more, but we ran out of trucks! John Dishong cleaned up in HP, only the second truck of the day, with a max run of 481hp. And this is with a weak turbo!!! MASSDIESEL cleaned and jerked second place; it was fun to watch the Hp as he turned things on: 260, 296, 376,... 412! I think Hemidart pulled third with a run at 379.

Two Powerstroke folk made runs, Shane B. and Joe S. , turning in a very respectable 260hp and 243, respectively. Joe DC's Chevy 2500 turned in 211.

In fact, I'd like to tabulate this and post the whole day's runs, unless anyone objects? I assume that no one minds, but please let me know if they'd prefer not to be listed. I also have a good number of email addresses. I'd like to get those together and do a group mailing so that we have everyone's email address. Again, let me know if there are objections.

Special thanks to Oasis-3 for trekking on up from PA to join us. Man those are the best looking stacks! Decent dyno too: 250 with the EZ!

HeyBoss and MASSDIESEL, you guys outdid yourselves! What a fantastic spread! Batman where are the pictures? :D

I gotta go shower off the smell of FRIED TURKEY!

Matt

... and yep, I ended up with the EZ, though I had to promise not to add it to my sig block until the check clears. You'll let me know Batman?

GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

Well I'd thought I better get a note dropped in here before you guys put my picture on a milk carton for being absent on Saturday,, My son was involved in a very bad auto crash late in the week that destroyed his car we bought on Monday,,He's ok except for a bunch of bumps and bruises and a shot to his ego(got his dream car and now its a total loss),,Been telling him car we can replace but him we can not,,Glad to hear Mr. MPH(aka Oasis-3) was there,,Hope whoever woke him up had their ear muffs on so you did not hear him snoring(crap, forgot his stacks would drown that out),,Man I hated missing seeing my hero SHINEBOY's truck, last smooth chassis I seen like that I married,he he he,,Fred I'll get that cup to ya,,Hope you all had fun and I'm sorry I could not make it I hated missing the fun,,Next one I'll not miss..... Andy

Big Fun

Well I made it home at 10:30 pm last night and had a good road trip. I had great time. Your group is all first class :D I will watch the board and when you have the next get together I will try to make the road trip again. JES the bag trick was to funny I told my wife and she ROTFLherAO :)

Now I can put faces to names and thanks for the good time.

MASS DIESEL thanks for getting this started.

Cliff

P. S. Hammer no I did not get an EZ just tested one off an ETC but did not get all the power because I need one for an ETH.

I had a great time too! Thanks to Scott for setting it up. The food was great @ Freds afterwards. :)

HEYBOSS, I ran out of money by mistake. I sent Scott a $10 check to cover the food. :)

These gatherings keep getting better and better. Hey Matt (wheaton), if I wonder how much total horsepower was at the event?

A big thanks goes out to Scott, George, Fred, Mike Dez... aw Heck, everone, for making it a great event. The picture display at Freds of the past events was great. Thanks to Maria for the photo's.

Mike Dez (dyno owner) was FAST at strapping down the trucks. Mike let us come in and make a black mess of his shop (although I didn't contribute any smoke... thankfully). Mike only had to walk out of the shop once because of the smoke, and it was thick all day.

I don't know if it was because it was cold last night, or my truck was happy because of the dyno results, but it seemed to really accelerate last night on the way home.
