Since it's taking a little longer than I expected to get the word out I think it's best to push it back to either July 15th or the 29th. The shop will be closed on the 22nd so that date isn't an option. So everyone get the word out and try to get a good turnout. Let me know what date is better for everyone.
Alright let's set it for Saturday July 29. We'll start it at about 10am and run until everyone is ready to go home. This should give everyone time to clear their schedules and do some last minute wrenching. I'll need to get a head count so that the guys at ACA will know how many trucks to expect. So everyone make some calls, spread the word and lets try to have a good turnout. As the date gets closer we'll figure out the food situation for the BBQ.
July 29th sounds good for me. Scott, we'll have to see if our group wants to travel. Might be too far for some of them to go. By the way, have a great 4th... ... ...
So far it sounds like it should be a pretty good turn out I just need a rough head count so ACA will know how many guys will be running. Also need to know how many people are interested in a BBQ that day so we can figure out what to do for food and drinks. Also I'm pretty sure the shop is going to want anyone with stacks to drop their flex pipe. I also just remembered that there is a pull at the buck later that night so we may be starting the dyno runs as early as 8am or 9am so we can get guys in who may want to leave early for the pulls (like me). The shop is willing to make this a two day event and starting up again on Sun if the turnout is to big to get everyone in on Sat.
Is it first come first serve or you makin a list of sorts? Id love to get on the dyno myself. Are they going to open on sunday? seems like alot of people may be trying to get on early to roll to the pulls.
Yes it will be pretty much first come first serve. Yeah I know we picked kind of a bad day with the Buck running that night. If there are enough trucks that want to run on Sunday we will make it a two day event and open up again on Sunday.
