Ok Ok How was englishtown

Mild Bombing Session

Missed that part of the ? From what dealers tell me it doesn't meet State emissions requirements, now get this if I buy a truck and register it in RI and put some miles on it than I can transfer it to Mass because now it is a used truck and that's ok... ... . go figure. The only problem with that is the sales tax in RI are higher than Mass and no credit on trade in which means I have to pay full tax.

Looked into having mine stretched to four doors but too much $$$, something like 12 to 15k but that's the difference to trade into new one with same options as mine, so around around we go:rolleyes:

What's wrong with the current ride?

Heck, it looks as if you never even drove it to begin with?

Besides - the German rollerskate still needs a rematch. ;)

If the kids are outgrowing it - don't bring 'em! :D

1. as you get older it gets tougher to get in the truck, too high. You'll understand when you get to my age.

2. No real four doors and tight in rear seat, hey I wonder if the 03's come with a can opener to get the passengers out?

3. truck is getting up there in mileage and that's when things start to go wrong, it's already with 37k

4. Dam engine is too loud and starting to get to me, Power stroke and DMax are quiet.

5. Not in love with the Cummins anymore, we broke up.

6. I could go on, do you want me too?

That's not a problem, that's about the only good thing about this truck, it has plenty of HP's to leave the rollerskate in the smoke.

That sure solves most of my problems, never thought about it, that's a very good excuse not to bring them and with the real four door I'll be stuck with the kids all the time. May be I'll trade it in for a regular cab, that way only me and the wife can go.

'Boss,

As a special favor to my fellow NETDP member, I am willing to have you purchase your new 03HO in CT and register it in my name. After I put the necessary miles on it, you can have it. ;)

See... ... ... ... . I know that I could count on someone, that's another reason I would consider the Cummins again and may compromise with the smaller cab because I don't think I could get this kind of support from the competition.

Now are you sure you don't mind driving for a few thousand miles so it gets old fast?

WTF... . Fred??????????????????

With The Ford:confused:

Too Loud - yup, your too old!:(

Jeese, I leave this place for a short bit, and next thing I know, Fred left RI, thinking about getting rid of the Dodge... ... ... ..... worse yet, thinking about... ... ... ... ... ..... a... ... ... ... ... Ford:{

FWIW... ... ... ... ... I'm going to be at the dyno, at least for a while. Don't know about after at this time.

George

Hello all I plan on attending the dyno day along with my brother-in-law who has a 95 CTD 4X4. I have one question though. Could I run a gasser early if I can get the motor in my RX-7 before the event? It will be quick and sure to be low number of the day so it will make others feel better. 70 cubic inches and 120RWHP(last dyno run on now blown engine) will make even my lame-o 1st gen look powerful. Let me know. It's no big deal if you don't want me to,and heck I still have to get the motor in the car anyway.

Chris

:D

mazda,

sure, you wouldn't be the first to show up with a gasser. We aren't proud or anything, we'll talk to pretty much anyone.

Fred,

Sounds like you're in a pretty tight place. The romance with the Cummins over, and it isn't a good time to court the Ford 6. 0... what is a poor guy to do? You still have one hell of a nice truck, would the right exhaust get you out of the doldrums? How can we help?

Matt

What if we could get the new Cummins in a Ford chassis? Would that be ta ta's on a bull or what? Hey if that's what Fred needs, let's see if we can get it to him!

Matt

Batman... ... ... where you been? Holy cow you're still around, how's that ride doing with all the goodies?

Hey, I changed my mind, higher priority won't let me get rid of the truck plus a smoked a Chebby gas 350 this am right of the light Oo. and that sure is a good day's start and it wouldn't be fair to dump the Cummins when in bad times it didn't let me down.

I guess we should make up and be good friends:rolleyes:

As MTY put it I can leave the kids a home if don't fit in the rear seat and for the noise I have year muffs when I used to go to the shooting range, hell a lot cheaper then spending another 15k to replace the Cummins.

MTE... ... ..... doesn't Ford offer the Cummins in their F650? That would be the way to go;)

There you go HeyBoss! A 650 would leave you a lot of options for custom creature comforts. You could put a small house on it, or heck, just tow the house behind you.

"Do I have to come back there?! ... if you kids can' t behave on the sofa while I'm driving, then I can always leave you on the side of the road!!!"

All joking aside You can't register and dealers can't sell the HO Cummins in Mass. Calif and NY. DC is supposedly working on it.

NY? i know that Maine is one of the states. hell, there's only 1 county that has emissions testing and mine isn't it. as the economy dwindles on your way to northern maine, so does the care for emissions (and affordability to fix any problems). this emissions crap in ME never made sense to me:rolleyes:

Aw just great Freddie. I had already made plans for all of the parts coming off your truck when you traded it in, and me making you obscenly low offers on the "used" parts. :{ :{

Sorry

to let you down Jeff but the wife won't let me get rid off it.

Plus I've been having way too much fun with this thing lately.

Blew a Dakota R/T sport with a 5. 9 in it on the high way over the week end and guess who was riding with me? My cousin Carlos that never believed that I could blow the doors off his 1500 with the same motor:D :D :D I think now he's convincedOo.
