Thanks, TDR Staff

RMTDR meet-a lot of fun

Bio Diesel Day-November 14th

SO much for that! I knew that I needed to do my rear brakes and I've been planning it for some time. Well, I put it off for too long. My right rear shoes are GONE and there are 1/8" grooves in the drums. :--) My fault... but now I can't make it to D Day!!!!

Anybody up for a brake job? I really was looking forward to Sat. Morning. I'm bummed. I guess I'll wait until Jan at the ATS gathering.

Thanks. Have fun and be safe!

Andrew

Get the replacement parts. At least you don't have to turn the drums. 2 hour job. You can still make the dyno!

:D If I can get it done(New drums, seal and shoes), I will definately head that direction. How long is everyone going to be there?

Andrew

That was fun!! Once the Dodges got on we finally got to see if that Dyno worked or not. Here is the numbers us Dodge folk put down:

Mike Lockner: 530 hp 1080 Ft lbs.

Jeff Randol: 520 hp 1057 ft lbs

Justin Marrs: 478 hp 963 ft lbs.

Bob Berends: 453 hp 951 ft lbs.

Matt D: 397 hp 1023 ft lbs

Mark S. : 306 hp 706 ft lbs.

All in all after the wait that seemed to never end I would say I had fun, hope everyone else did as well. :D I personally want to apologize to Richard Ebel, Richard you had the longest drive of all of us and I feel pretty bad that we didnt coordinate getting you on the dyno early in the day even though the deal was PSD"s first. R. ebel, your next dyno run at our Dyno Day is on the house!! Sorry buddy, it was great to see you though!

Jeff Randol

Thanks to all who were there and had fun. I sure did even though we waited a looooooooong tome for the low HP (PSD) trucks to get done. There were a couple of pretty spunky D-max's there but the small crowd that waited for the Dodges got their show.

Richard, sorry you did not get on earlier. I got a rerun in OD last thing of the night. It was worth it. Then there was a guy with a 5 liter mustang with a vortec charger and intercooler who put up some numbers for the car guys.

Jim, Thanks for the compliment. As you know, there's lots more in there. :D

So who's going to be the 1st local around here to break 650? I think there might be a truck or 2 in Colorado already doing 600 but curious to see who can get er up there a little more. Oo. Oo.

Highest HP Ford: 408 hp 847 ft lbs.

Highest HP D-Max: 464 hp 787 ft lbs.

Highest HP CTD: 530 hp 1080 ft lbs.

Cost for Ford to get there: Equal to the National Debt

Cost for the D-Max to get there: Equal to the cost to fly Bill Gates Jet for an hour

Cost for the CTD to get there: Priceless when you see the look on the PSD and the D-Maxes face when you iniliate them with 2 less cylinders and 1/100th of the cost to get there!! :D

Epic statement from the ricer dude working at the dyno after Jeff's first injector only run to the blue chip box on kill going from 300hp to 500hp - the first 500 run of the day

HOLY I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER

Followed by

GOD D@MN!T

when Jeff blew the exhaust hose off his tailpipe and filled the shop with smoke.

That is the last time I leave following you fog machines. Funny to see how many of you forgot to turn your boxes down when you were done. All three stops/intersections were blacked out, and, oh goody, no wind to help clear it out.

Jeff and everyone I had a great time. Long day, sorry we did not get Richard on. We owe you next Dyno Day Richard, it'll be on the RMTDR guys so just show up. I love watching your truck run. Laser Bob it was good to see you again. Like I said start thinking about and getting ready for an O ring and cam job coming your way. I finally got the numbers Ive been looking for. Time to plan the next steps. Great day overall and was good to see everyone. I think the Ford boys were scared after Bob snuck in line and ran early and put on a smoke show is why not many of them stuck around.

I agree Mike, them Ford guys probably get tired of us putting the to shame every time we dyno. :D

Nice strong numbers guys! Way to go  :D

I had signed up #6 behind LaserBob and was told by Shay we would run in the order of registration. Had my truck warmed up and was ready to pull in after Bob was done when they shut me down and said all of the PowerJokes were going to be allowed to run first:rolleyes: Wish I could of stayed but had a dinner engagement to attend.

WARNING SLIGHT RANT-- Man, the dyno guys were agonizingly slow  For $50 bucks a truck you would think that they would hustle a little more. I could not believe that they let a 250 hp PowerJoke sit on the dyno for 20 minutes while the guy changed out an airbox  then they fooled around taking off the tires on the dual'ies  -- RANT COMPLETE

Was it just me or did a lot of the Ford guys seem kind of nerdy or geek like?:-laf

Congradulations to Mike Lockner for setting the all time record torque number on the DynoPro dyno:D

I am with you Richard, seems like if guys wanted to play with airboxes and do time consuming mods they should have pulled them off the dyno, let another truck jump in and then put him back on the dyno later.

Nice Numbers guys, Congradulations!

Has something changed on your truck Mike... WOW... or is it the same set up as when I drove it.

Does anyone know what the 408HP PS had in it? what boxes and or chips?

I have heard injectors for a 7. 3 go from $1800 to around $3500 a set.

Pricing for performance parts just makes you want to go out and buy a PSD, doesn't it?

It was fun, even though we had to wait a long time.

Yes the ford guys are a different group, nice, but different.

Shanti at DTT said one time "You Dodge guys are special!"
