I have heard injectors for a 7. 3 go from $1800 to around $3500 a set.

The 408 hp stroker was from here in Cheyenne and is owned by Aaron Ginn. I narrowly beat him in a dyno competition a many HP and a couple years ago. I'll try to find all the details of his setup. I do know he runs propane and at one time also ran NO2 with propane. Yesterday he told me he took the NO2 off because he only gained 25-30 hp with it.

The 7. 3L strokers are fuel limited due to the plungers on their injection pumps being only around 7mm dia. compared to a 12 valve Cummins that has 12mm plunger/barrels.

Edit: link to dyno results

The guy doing the spread sheet had to leave a 5:30 so none of the Dodges are in the spread sheet:rolleyes:

Richard, thanks for the compliment though I know yours would have been better yet.

jj, my truck is basically the same, except a little fine tuning and the comp somehow turned into a drag comp. Besides that we really didn't get on it when you drove it. You were too busy:) . That first ride in a modified truck will get ya.

Was it just me or did the ford and chevy guys stop talking about the numbers as soon as the dodge guys started running. I had a great time even if I didn't run my truck. It made me happy I bought a dodge. :D

I have to ask where all the first gens out there are? I feel like I'm going to have to step up and get my truck fixed up so I can make a showing for those older trucks.

And I had alot of fun watching Mark run even if he did drag down the average for the dodge guys. Not bad for a small amount of money and just a little tweaking.

Hey all, this one comes from Shay. When you all have a chance please email her a big thanks. Trust me or ask Barry G, coordinating these and then following up with events of any nature take time, drive and resources. Please send her an email when you can thanking her, she was the driving force in this deal and I feel it was really pretty darn good. Email address is: -- email address removed --

Here is an email I just got from her:

Okay, whoever can copy this first and post it to your website, please do so I can get a word in without paying the Dodge fee. Ha!

To all my Dodge boys:

I want to personally apologize for the long day and wait you guys had, especially you Richard. I am glad to hear that they will treat you right at the next dyno day. If I could get to somebody at Cummins and get some shirts or hats or something for you guys, I would. But I know you don't want my PSD shirts and hats, so I really don't have much to offer you, except for a smile and an I'm sorry. I hope it won't keep you away next time we all try to get together.

We all really enjoy having you guys around. We all love our trucks for different reasons. We fully know that your Cummins are putting down higher numbers than our PSDs (right now at least) and that's okay. As long as it runs diesel, right? (although that Mustang was fun to watch - yes, I'm a Mustang gal as well - got an old one collecting dust in the garage). As far as the nerd award, nerds don't get a woman like me and I didn't marry for money, so Alan must not be too nerdy. Ha, ha. Just kidding. You would actually be amazed at how much those "nerdy PSD guys" know about wrentching on these trucks. Personally, my husband and I have spent many hours underneath the big trucks. I guess, once you are a Ford, Dodge or Chevy guy or gal, you just are one forever, no matter what. Our Ford history goes way back, what can I say?

Anyway, I really do hope that our two clubs can do more events in the future. I would like to see more charity events happen, showing our diesels as being owned by normal people is always good. The image us diesel truck owners have been given is very unfair. I am working very hard to change that image and I know Jeff is with me on community events.

I learn a little more everytime I do another event, so they can only get better! You guys keep checking in on our website. We love to hear from you all.

Had a good time, guys...

This dyno stuff could be dangerous to my wallet, now I've got numbers to go off of. Hmmm, how can I get a little more:D . Well, when does the TDR hold their own dyno day?

Until next time... .....
