Competition Truck Pulls in PA

Competition My First Pull=First Place!

Looking for some type type of head count for a dyno event in Oklahoma City, Chuck (owner) of Alternative Motor Sports is in the mood for an event for the truck but would accept runs from anyone. I'm trying to see how many folks would show up to see if it's even worth putting it on, Reply on this post then we'll go from there but looking at something in late Aug so we have time to plan. He has a brand new Dyno-Jet and has the sensor for T/Q readings, same dyno I ran on and the shop is located on the edge of town and is easy to get to, highlights are me trying to crack the 700 mark.

Thanks, Jim

I'd sure try to make it. OKC is a four hour drive but I'd be willing if my schedule allows it. By the way I'll be in OKC for three weeks in November if you plan another event.

Wes

We are talking about the 23rd of Aug in the afternoon..... after noon time as there are only 9-10 trucks that are wanting to come, I need some sort of a head count for who wants to run on the dyno!

Jim

Jim, as of now I should be able to make it, any awards for long distance!?:D How much for a run or is he just breaking in the new dyno?

He hasn't set a price yet but his day to day prices are cheap we just need to get some exhaust hose to keep from smoking the shop up so bad... ..... should have mine back together by then.

Jim

It was originally planned for just the trucks but I don't know now as there are very few folks interested, might just have to continue to get the interest started, it's a shame Chuck can't dyno his ricer as the motor is suppose to make like 800 hp. Until you hear other wise it's still on, and the week before I'll post directions here and on the DTR... . it's easy to find!

Jim

I would defenitly make the trip from Salina down there but unfortunetly the Aug. 23 wont work for me. But ANYother weekend would be fine as I need to get down there soon anyway to see a dog about a man on the South side of OKC.

Russell

Well here's the deal on the dyno event, I will not make it with my truck but I'll be there to watch and help. Chuck and I talked today and he told me that they will be there from 9am-2pm and will stay longer but only of there are trucks to run. Pulls are $25. 00 each(minimum of two) with the sensor for T/Q readings, if you want to test something then he will work with you on that too. I've only got responses from a few people but we decided to go a head and open it up to maybe spark some interest here in OKC. The date is still Aug 23rd and the shop number is 405-440-0933 and the address is 8608 W. Reno... . those that know the area it's on Reno between Council and Morgan road going west before the bridge.

Jim

I can't make it this weekend, but if you guys want to get together some other time, I would be interested in meeting. I live near Duncan, OK but am going to college right now at Stillwater. Sat-Mondays is good for me.

Justin H

I'm sure he will as the shop is open and making money on Saturday's anyway but we might have to do one on a Sunday as he never misses a OU game.

Jim

I just can't understand WHY anyone would attend an OU game... but then again, I may be alittle bias. :D Oo. :D

Wouldn't have to be a dyno meet. I would just like to meet some fellow TDR members.
