Theres some Dynojet locations for you, I would call around see which you like best. :D

I use a place in Lewisville.

Its called Speedworks. They are great bunch of guys. They do not know diesel performance, but can run the dyno with the best of them.

I have used the Redline performance dyno as well. I dont think you want to go there.

If I ever get my truck figured out, maybe we could show up at the same time and dyno together.

I have called all these guys and many do not have the room for the trucks to fit or just flat out dont want to do it.

Works for me

Yeah that'd be cool? When? Just PM or email me see if we can figure out a time/Date. The more the merrier. Anybody else?

Maybe we could get a little dyno day together for everyone. I know the Speedworks guys will work out a cheaper price for more folks.

I always go with the local Ford guys(great bunch by the way)

We have a blast.

Some of us drink a few beers and barbecue in the parking lot. We all have a great time. Talk about trucks and whatever. Its a good stress reliever for me.

I was planning on the Tulsa dyno day on Saturday, but my truck is acting up on me right now. It feels stock.

Your Welcome

I have no idea which of those places your truck will fit on, or if any of them are any good, I just pulled the names of the Dynojet Website is all.

Hope ya find one ya like.

Kat,

So far only one can/is willing to do it. It's the one Don said I probably don't want to use. I guess I'll try the Speedworks place in Lewisville, that's the nearest one for me anyway.

Don't you have to come down here to look at houses... ..... I-35 goes right through Lewisville, it's on the way to Houston ain't it;) ;) :D

Thanks again, we'll see what happens

Glenn

BFC,

Let me know when your going and count me in. The last time I had it dynoed was at Cummins. Sounds like a blast.

Go for it,, keep me updated on a possible DYNO day,, maybe TxDieselKid would be interested in a dyno Run also,, I know I am.

I am hoping to see 360+RWHP.

Like I said,, Keep me updated.

Maybe this thread needs moved to the moved to the Local/Regional events. :)

It all sounds really good to me. I have used the dyno at Speedworks about 15 total runs. They are good guys.

The only problem is they dont have a pick-up for the 12 valve trucks like mine to read torque.

Dynojet wants about 300 bucks to get one from them. So far I have resisted in the purchase of one. I might try and work out a deal with speedworks and some other guys to get the thing purchased.

I can easily round up about 10 Ford guys that would be willing to dyno. This gets us a great price on the runs. Last time it was 40 bucks for three runs. Pretty good deal.

I think they were so interested in helping me break 400 they let me make about 7 or 8 runs. They even donated a full bottle of Nitrous to spray across the intercooler to make more power. It worked I got to 403.

Let do this and make a day of it.

All you Tulsa guys should come on down and go on the rollers with us. Sorry my truck was broken for the event today. Dern it.

trying to get a pic up

Ok, dont know if this will work but, if it does here is a photo from a guys website of my truck at speedworks getting the cool down on the intercooler.

Hey Ya'll,

Count me in! Keep me posted if ya'll set somethin' up. I'm sure theres a few others in the Dallas TDR that would be interested.

Mark

We need to have another one up here. Hogan's dyno shop bought an optical sensor just for this type of stuff. Then only 2 trucks dynoed on saturday. If for some reason you can't get one down there I am sure Hogans would be more than happy to put another one on up here. Keep us posted I would like to make it down there if things work out.

That shop has got to get SMOKEY!! lol No door or anything in the exhaust area. At the Dyno Day here there was 3 doors on a small shop with a huge fan getthing the smoke out :D. Jons truck left one hell of a blackspot on the floor

might make it...

I am intrested what I would get with my set up. I might be able to make it, depends on the date.

Merrick, you wouldn't drive all that way would you?
