Thanks Brian,

We all had a great time this past weekend. We need more of these events over here in the East Coast throughout the summer.

Scott tells me you guys had a LONG drive home after you left me in PA. He said the GAS finally caught up with Big Jeff... :eek:

Hope to see you again soon.

I would also like to thank the whole dyno crew, and everyone else who helped make muncie a great time.

I was really happy with my numbers. I didn't think I was going to get anywhere near 400 with my stock exhaust and HY35. Oo.

One question. Do the trucks with manuals or lock up switches usually show more torque? I noticed on my truck that the run doesn't start until around 1800rpm and isn't really going strong until about 2100-2200rpm. I guess that is so the truck doesn't shift to 3rd. With a manual it seems like the run would be started at lower rpm and would maybe show a higher tq reading. Is that right?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris;

You're pretty much on the ball there. If I ease into the throttle when I Dyno mine (If I can drive it), I can usually get the run to start at 1600 RPM, not a full throttle but okay. However, every truck is diffrent, and some I've driven will unlock when mine would stay locked. A Stcik shift or an auto with lock-up switch will be able to hold full throttle at lower RPM (if the Clutches can take it), this will give you a higher torque number.
