I need one or two of you guys that are stacking the TST and have readily available dyno access to pm me or email me.

It will be worth the email.

Hey TomeyGun, I'm just glad I'm not the only guy out there running TST/EZ stack with the STOCK turbo :p

I hear of all these guys blowing theres up and I can't make mine go BOOM. I keep hoping it will so I have to get the twins, but it won't :-laf

KEEP ON TRUCKIN'

Lonestar

That is the funny part, It must be the way I drive... I always roll on the throttle, and never lift fast enough to bark it -- And I set the wastgate at 30 lbs, no higher

Of course on the road (on level 7) I hit 1350* in like 4 seconds - So you can really tell that stocker is way out of its league

On a side note, If anyway is coming to the STL dyno day that has an extra stocker, I may need it, Cause I am shotting for the MOON - Stocker and all !!! -- I just want to find out how high you can take this tiny thing called a "turbo" :-laf

Tommy, have you put that pusher pump on yet?????

DPP said it will be here today!

In a perfect world - I will be under my truck by 5pm and getting it taken care of

PS - We are putting one on my truck so my technician will know how to install these units, Because I plan on selling them here in the Service Dept

(for all those people with 98-02's that keep losing LP's)

driverno8,

I think 9/9 in a perfect world one would see higher numbers then 150. I think its advertised to possibly put out 190 hp.

I had my EZ on 4 the last time I dyno'd. Next time I am going to take it down to three to see the difference. This should help me figure out is I am getting to much fuel. I should be going back to the same dyno the 1st or 2nd of April. That way I can compare apples to apples since the same dyno will be used.

On previous dyno runs I gained 82 hp with just the EZ setting on 4. Not bad for a 70 hp setting.

What gear are you guys in when you run on the dyno? The last place I was at was doing second, letting the truck shift al the way through. Then new place I called want to lock it in 3rd. How do I lock it in third? I do have an ATS Triple Loc TQ w/ VB. I know the ATS sells the commander which does something with the TQ buy how do start the truck in third? And is that even the best gear?

I always dyno in top gear, OD (5th for me)

I do not know about the autos though, You have to experiment with the kickdown to get a MPH that it will not kickdown... so you can floor it from there

My numbers were in direct, 4th for me. With an automatic you'll want to get it up to third and get the converter to lock up.

OK let me get this straight. First I don't have a clue what tc lock up is. So parden my inexperience. I'm going to get on the dyno. Strap in. Push the tow haul button in (tow haul light on the dash is on). Let the truck go through the gears until 3rd. Then get on it. This is what I've gathered so far from all this dyno so maddness.

I know when I do this on the street she screams. Boost is up like this about 10-15 or so and the trucks is just itching to go. Like it's sitting in it's power band.

Sounds perrrrfect to me ;)

One other thing. This pink wire in the first injector harness. Do you pierce it or clamp on to it? Is this more accurate then to do the sensor on the crank?

The first couple of times I had dyno'd, the operator turned off the OD (tow/haul button pushed in for dash display). Looking at the run sheets, my torque would never be that high. The last time I dyno'd, I left the OD engaged, got the truck to 68 MPH and then the test began. I need to try out a Mustang dyno. Or maybe next time on this dyno, I will have the operator feather into the throttle at 60 MPH.

i am not sure how accurate, By the naked eye looking at the computer from 10 feet, it seemed to match when I revved the engine

And all you do is clamp onto it, no piercing
