Dyno Results STOCK 600 Cummins

I was invited over to TST (Thanks Mark and Crew!) for some dyno testing of my 600/6 speed.



Here are the results:



Max Power :274 @2920rpm

Max Torque:498 @2680rpm



Looking at the dyno sheet, the engine put out everything Cummins said it would.



The torque peaks right after 1500 RPM and stays up until 2900rpm.

The horsepower rises smoothly and peaks at 2900rpm.

How many miles do you have on your truck? Just curious as I missed a chance to dyno mine this weekend while I was working on other projects but, I only have about 1200 miles on mine so far.

Weren't some other guys saying theirs dyno'ed at 245 and 250 HP? Stock.

Doug,

Thats what I was reading a couple days ago.

Those 250 numbers could have been on a dynojet.

TST's Dyno is a Mustang Dyno that loads up the engine pretty well.

We dynoed one last week... Two runs, 269/498 and 270/503. Graph looked good. Dynojet 248 @ sea level.
