LMAO... . :p

Count me in!

I'm about 70% sure I can sneak up there that weekend. My truck's still stock, but I'd like to have a baseline for future reference. (Besides, my trucks only got 1300mi on the clock) Plus, it would be cool to B. S. with some of you hardcore BOMBERS and pick up some pointers on MAD BOMBING. I'll know for sure if I can make it early next week.

Liberty Lake

Bob;

Here is what I found on Liberty Lake. Since it is a County Park looks like no reservations; first come first served. They also only have 20 amp service. Do not see anything about tents. The price is a lot less though.

Add us to the list of trucks, but will pass on the dyno. I just do not have enough power. hehe:eek:

Tracy,

You are right on the ball. I took a drive out to the Liberty Lake campground today and also the KOA on Barker 1/2 mile from Shelleys Automotive.

Liberty Lake campground (secluded) about 7-8 miles from Shelleys. No reservations, first come basis.

Cost has gone up this year, $15. 00 + $2. 00 per person for RV and I didn't ask about tents, but they have tent areas right next to the RV's, probably somewhere around $10. 00. Nice secluded campground with swimming access to Liberty Lake. They have showers. You have to drive about 1 mile round trip on gravel to access campground. Go all the way to the end where it flattens out into a nice flat open area to camp (still lots of trees around). You could probably get about 15-20 good size RV's.

If you decide to use this campground beware! There were signs on the information shack that Bear and cub, and a Cougar have been sighted in the last 2 weeks!

KOA of Spokane

This is a very nice campground about 1/2 mile south of Shelleys Automotive. This campground would be very convienent for anyone who is coming. Fee's are a little higher than Liberty Lake, $27. 00 for water and electric, and $29. 00 for full hook-ups, water, electricity, sewer and cable TV. A $2. 00 fee per person for more that 2 people. Children 3 and under are free. Have up to 50 amp services. Lots of RV spaces.

Tents are $23. 00 per night.

Amenities include;

Heated Swimming pool

Playground

Laundry

Showers

Game room

Basketball Hoops

Volleyball

Dump Station

Dog walk area

Sheltered Picnic Tables

They take reservations, their phone number is 1-800-562-3309.

Unless you have other intentions or activities in Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area, this KOA I think is just the ticket. Very convient, only 1/2 mile to Shelleys.

THIS KOA IS NOT THE SAME ONE BOB WAGNER POSTED ABOUT!

Well, it looks like I will not be able to find someone to fill in gor me at work that day..... I will be sitting this one out :(

-Cliff

Looks like I will be "sitting" this one out also. I need to finish my road in Oregon before the fall rains hit.

My plan is to go there on Friday morning and work til late saturday, drive home early sunday morning.

I will miss the fun again. :( :(

Evan

I beat ya to tha punch I already have broke down and invited a couple of Ford guys to this event(there almost normal) and am working on a freind(yes I have 1) with a 01 Duramax to attend. I told him if it wouldn't make it I would stop by with the trailer and pick him up.:D

Jason

Jason... I am including an extra five dollars in my latest check to you... please apply it to the dyno run for the duramax... I would love to see what they do. Wish I could be there in person.

I hope they do well...competition is a good thing!

The address for Shelleys Automotive and Dyno Tuning is 4305 N. Barker.

Take I-90 to exit 293 (which is Barker Road) go north about 1. 5 miles and you are there!

Boy, that is going to be tough!:D :D

Guys, if you get lost, you'd get lost in your own backyard.

By the way you will pass the KOA on the left after you go over the Spokane River, keep going to Shelleys Automotive another 1/2 mile on left.
