the guy i bought my tst box ($500) shipped from was also selling an mp-8 ($150) b/c it blew his injectors and the tst box was making his stock transmission slip. . go figure... if i had it to do over again i like the ez but i would get the ramifier. i would not buy the mp-8 one of several reasons is i dont like downloaders. jmo

Merrick,

How were your EGT's when comparing the CLDL to the FlashPaq? With the CLDL I haven't seen my EGT's go above 1250, but with the FlashPaq I've seen it as high as 1550. For this reason alone I'm not currently running the FlashPaq. This is all with an SPS62.

Thanks!

We didn't look at anything other than highest HP, and a linear dyno curve.

We still haven't done any daily driving on the Bully dog CL, but, I hope to convince him soon to try it out.

So far on 3x4 with the Flashpak on performance, he has seen a pegged 1,600*F with his stock turbo.

He will be upgrqadig his charger in the next paycheck or two. :-laf

TST Twins flash

Could you explain what the TST twins flash is. I keep seeing it in the threads, but have not heard what it really is. Thanks

Rick

the TST comes with regular programming. you can send it back for a 'twins' flash, which is a new program, and it supposedly is a lot more fuel/more agressive program. I dont have it though, this is just what I have read on here.

hope this helps

It simply has more fuel right off idle at alot lower boost levels to help spool up big singles or twin turbos.

I think the standard is additional fueling at 12psi ramping up to 27 or so, and the twin program is fuel in at 3 or 4psi, all in by 15-17?

pretty close...

REGULAR - fuels linear from 12 to 30 psi

TWINS (03) - fuels linear from 4 to 12 psi

TWINS (new) - I think fuels from 4 to like 20 psi, this one was made for the new trucks cause the old twins program was too much for the 04. 5+ trucks
