Competition 1st gen IRP 06 443hp dyno VIDEO

Competition first time pullin,few questions

It's to late the crack is growing if we would have know it was there sooner maybe? We have a 2001 block here to work with.

Right on, yeah if you start early with the JB weld it really prolongs the situation. Or at least, that's what I've heard... ... ... . ;)

Under the power steering pump on the drivers side. Kinda tucked up under there. When I found mine it looked like it was staring me down!!! Damn 53. That's alright. It forces me into some other things that need to be done. Hope ya'll enjoy the video. All my hard earned money at work. Don sure knows how to build those injectors and DTT sure can build a transmission. Not to mention old Poole putting his magic touches on it. I hope his magic works on building a diesel engine!!!!! :D

10lbs - that's funny. 24 valve knowledge will tell you that the pump won't go over 4000. Olee if I remember right we barely used 4lbs in that many runs.

ohh didn't know that about the 24 valvers. figured you guys would of fixed that by now :)

That's insane looking tho. like less then 2 seconds of time between spray and redline.

624hp-1227tq Has anyone got a 53 block replaced by cummins? I have heard that there someone at cummins can help out on a new replacement block. . Thanks Olee

I got one of my customers 53 block replaced under warranty. It helps if you have a good rep to work with. We got the block, rings, bearings, and a full gasket set. THey would not pay for labor. Not a bad deal with 135,000 on the truck. Our cummins master dealer is great to us.

I can do the labor no problem. Anybody I can get in touch with that could steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Ran home for a little bit today and watched the vid (can't watch any on Government computers)

Do you guys turn it on with a hobbs switch? Like 30 psi or so!

Jim
