No the 695 HP was with twins, but the 760 HP was with a big single that out runs the twins like crazy. Twins are just a pain in my opinion. You always have to worry about blowing intercoolers, hoses, head gaskets. They run cool on egt's, but make too much heat in front of the radiator, they heat up the engine oil twice as fast and ruin your oil twice as fast, they are too hard to controll your boost when towing. Yah, they look impressive but they don't do that much good. I just think people should know this before they put twins on there wish list. People think that by adding twins they are going to make to extreme amount of power right out of the box and its a false thought for many.
The biggest problem is you are trying to shove all that air from the 3B into that little turbo and it all binds up. Also, if you can't flow the exhaust, then you aren't going to make power and if you open the exhaust on a set of twins then they will run spool very slow so you're in the same boat. You will find out, ... run about 10 diffent twin set ups and about 25 different single set ups.
After the new year, singles will be back and selling like crazy. A huge compressor pin wheel and a variable design from 4 cm to 18. 5 cm (opening from exhaust pressure, not boost pressure) and the it wastegates. This turbo will be the most versitile turbo out there, ... 250-650 hp, tow awesome, reasonable boost pressures, and instant spool up the truck will run around a truck that has twins.
