I put down 689TQ at 1476 rpm! Above that the TQ proportionally went down all the way to 3100 which caused me to only have a peak HP of 230 or so. Strangely enough I have 200HP from about 1500-3000! The operator then told me that the dyno was only good for 500TQ? Is it possible that the dyno can't handle that much power and that would cause false readings? The water return from the brake almost was boiling too! Lots of steam came off the buffer tank.

Thanks, John :D

What kind of dyno was this? Seems a little skechy to me. Any Mustang or DynoJet should support 1000 LB FT easily. and 200 HP just sounds WAY off. You should get 200 RWHP stock I think.

The dyno is a Land and Sea. I don't know the model number. The operator even said my truck has more power than the graph shows but he doesn't know how much more. I am the only diesel he has ever run too!
