I finally got around to straping the dodge down on the rollers today and I was very suprised at the results!

Corrected

Basline was 304 HP and 518 TQ

I made a few diffrent runs to try to get best HP and best TQ,

on 6/5 I made 377 HP and a best TQ of 1051.

best HP run was 450. 1 on 8/4. Clutch wouldnt hold anymore, It was slipping on anything over this.

They were toasty dont get me wrong! 1450 on the 377 run but the 8/4 run was cooler on the gauges at least. It was so quick to reach the redline I dont think the gauges could register that quick. I wonder how hot it really was?

Those numbers are really impressive.

Where did you have to go to find a Dynamometer?

I ran my pickup on a MD-750 in Concord, CA at BG Racing, and it can provide so much absorption that it actually took a while for my truck to redline (maybe four to seven seconds?). If you feel like driving all the way to Concord, I would suggest them, they were nice, had plenty of time to talk with me, and both the owner and operator were knowledgeable and safe.

The are a great dynoshop. Adam at WINSPEED uses them all the time, is that where you heard of them?

Very impresive numbers... . I just wonder how my auto would hold up on those settings.

Have you heard of any dyno numbers on the DR. Perf stage 2 box?

I went to Blane Myers, Browns Valley RV and Performane its only about 25 minutes away. The 377 run is what I run for daily driving 100% and the 6 spd and clutch hold fine. The TQ really supprised everyone there (including myself). A ford 6. 0 put down 417 HP and only 87? TQ.

Matty... .

Little help please? What is the correction?

304 stock would only be 6. 5% loss from the stated hp. I thought it was more like 15% on a 6 speed. Like 275-280hp.

Thats why I said my baseline #'s not stock #'s. My TST box was on 0/0, I still had the 4in exhaust and my intake on the truck. The correction was set at 1 to 1. I was still surprized at the TQ #'s being at 1050 at such a low TQ setting on the box but I also remembered that all the #'s we have been seing such as marks from TST's stock truck and everyone elses on this site have all been 305/555 or 250 or 235 HP engines and some with air flow improvements. I think the 600 engines with the diffrent turbo, increaced fuel rail pressure, and obviosly a little better clutch than the HO 305 motors my 600 could lay down these #'s. Also there was alot of contoversy between the people that were there when I dynoed, They thought there was no way a Dodge with $1000 in mods could make that much power!
