The install of my injectors was just completed. The truck was kinda lazy coming off the line. . I would torque it up, and it would spin for a little bit. . Now is a different story. When I torque it up and let it go, the tires actually roast. . Not just a little spin anymore. . The response is better as well. Power is very smooth. . It's kinda like putting on a programmer for the first time. . I got that warm fuzzy feeling all over again. . haha... . Dynomite Diesel injectors are a big thumbs up...

Hey Brad let me know how the injectors hold up after a few thousand miles. Mark (Hemlock) has had some problems with injectors (aftermarket) on his 03. He had a pressure box and replaced it with a TST and had to stack the boxes for the injectors to work right. Bill

I'll let everyone know if I have any problems. . I'd really like to see this thing as quick as the Dmax. . I don't know if it's quite there yet, though it could be close. . I'm only using the 130 power pup. If I weren't scared of breaking the input shaft, a larger program would easily put me faster now. . I don't know how fast I can go with an 8,040 pound race weight without snapping the input. . Does anyone have an idea of how much quicker I can go with the stock one?

I would be interested to see or hear how far off the sizes are on those orfices. I know that Dyno-mite has seen large fluctuations for 1 injector to the next. Its also funny to hear the reactions of the people who are getting their extrude hone injectors back, all are usually" wow" and holy crap this thing is smooth and now i can run with my box off! I lilke the last one, because you knowthat they are in traffic next to an STI or a ricemobile with a 3 foot wing , locking into 4x4 and turning the box up to 5x5. Steve

Morse, You Probably Won't Have And Injector Problem With Those Injectors. Extrude Hone Is Not The Same. Now You Will Probably Have To Launch In 4wd Which Is Realy Going To Stress The Input. You Are Doing Great, Especially Since Toolman Is Running 12. 80's With A 600 And Waiting To See How Your Injectors Help. Please Keep Us Informed How The Big Black Pig (which Is No Pig Anymore) Is Doing Here At Hts And We'll Stay Informed On The Outcome.

I went with their 90 hp version... 12. 80 is awesome. . I need to do the input, and larger programmer if I want to pursue much faster times. . Today was the first day the 95 ran with the raceplate in, and valet off. . The Bowling Green race should be interesting. My luck, it won't last till April. . I should have some healthy dyno numbers next week... =)

I see that you got your injectors in I am very curious to see how she runs at the track and how much improvment you have. I still don't know if I want to go with the honed injectors or the EDM's

What kind of Boost numbers where you running before and after the install?

I am planning on going to Bowling Green too if I can get this old sled of mine to run 12 flat.

Toolman, I'll let you know the results as soon as I go to the track. . Better yet, my buddy is having his installed tuesday or wednesday. He will be a better comparison for you. He ran 13. 80 last time at the track. . He will be racing thursday night as well. I'll let you know the results for both. .

I don't have gauges in it yet. . I'm waiting on my pillar gauge holder to come in. . Should be here first of the week...

Thanks that will be great. What does your buddy have on his truck, boxes and etc? I am anxious to hear the results. You guys are so lucky to be able to run all year. We are just up here waiten for the snow to go away and the tracks to open again.

Well, I just returned from the track. . I tried to wait out the headwind, though it never got any better, so I made a couple passes. . The weather was saying 17 mph winds from the south, with 26 mph gusts. . This was directly against the truck. . I don't know if that will make much of a difference, but it can't be good... Well, I'm actually pretty happy. . Last time out, the truck ran a best of 14. 36 at 94. 2. . Tonight, it ran a 13. 84 at 97. 6. I didn't torque it up as much on the line as normal, for fear of breaking the input. I was very surprised to see my 60' was still a 1. 93. It only hazed a little smoke just off the line. After that, no smoke at all. .

Breakdown...

It dropped a total of . 52 seconds, and picked up 3. 4 mph. . No smoke... I'll go again when the conditions are better. .

My buddy had run a previous best before DDP injectors of 13. 80. Tonight, he ran a 13. 32. . This was also with the 90 hp DDP injectors. . He was having a hard time finding the sweet spot with his TST Box. He still dropped . 48 and picked up about 4 mph.

I feel the DDP injectors were a great asset to the truck. For the money, you can't go wrong. .

When is that event. Will it be both drags and pulls?

Have you taken a mileage reading and the net affect? What was it? Were they just tips or did you have to trade yours in or do they do the deed to yours and send them back and what is the turnaround if it's the latter?

It is on the 29 of April and it is one of the DHRA national events so I believe it is both pulls and drags. You can check out the details at www.dhraonline.com

I hope you can make it, I am trying to talk D Hawk into going and some other guys from up hear.
