I'm shopping around for a used 3500 and was wondering if anyone has purchased trucks from the above? I know that I can't be too picky when shopping for used but I'm willing to travel out of state to find the right one.

You can probably afford to be picky with the current high fuel prices. Some have paniced and sold/traded their diesel light trucks for gas sipping women's cars and the market is soft right now for heavy pickups. If you know how to evaluate the prospects available and shop carefully you may be able to find a nice truck, well cared, for, at an attractive price.

I bought my 03 on ebay out of state. There were a few things that weren't mentioned on the listing, but not enough to be a deal breaker. Had to make a few minor repairs/changes to get it up to snuff, but overall happy with the deal.

Good to know. Ebay has some smokin' deals right now. I just wish that I could touch, feel and drive before the "Buy it now".

Good Transaction

I bought my '03 BMW through a broker I found on ebay when inquiring about a car shown there. The deal was great, and all the details worked out real well. I flew to Chicago to pick it up. A good bit of my piece of mind came from the fact that the car still had over 3 years of factory warranty on it, so I knew if there were mechanical problems, the manufacturer would be on the hook. That's over 4 years ago, and I love that car. Bruce

Ebay purchase

I bought my 06 on ebay - from a dealer. Still under warranty, so risk was minimal. They also agreed to fly me home if I didn't want the truck. I saved a lot of $. I agree this is definitely a buyer's market. You should be able to get a screaming deal right now.
