I want to move my exhaust brake switch from the lower dash-board to a two speed rearend push pull switch mounted on the stick. I have all the wiring, hooked up and it works. I just need a good idea how to mount it to the stick. I just need to know how to mount it to the stick, any ideas would be great.

For a friend of mine...

I took a piece of 1/2"steel pipe and cut out a 2" long section length-wise. Then I de-burred the half-pipe and welded a short section of flat bar with the appropriate sized hole for the switch. Painted it black and used a hose clamp (or heavy duty snap tie) with a little dab of silicone between pipe and "bracket" to keep it in place.

Hope that helps.

Call Piers

I got my brake from Piers and he sells a trick little mount made out of a block of aluminum that clamps the switch to the stick. High quality piece that looks and fits great.

You might also try Diesel Injection Service at http://www.dieselpage.com - I believe they sell the same switch complete with mount. I have one in my garage now that I bought from them last fall - maybe I'll get around to installing it one of these days. ;)
