I am thinking of getting a 2009, starting to think of mods already! I have a question about the factory e-brake switch. From the board, I gather that the switch is on the dash AND that it is deactivated each time the key is turned off. Is that correct?
On my 2001, I have a switch on the stick that controls the Jacobs e-brake.
I was wondering if it is possible to either bypass the dash switch OR wire a shifter switch is series with the dash switch which would be like a master switch, with the shifter switch acting as the on/off? Is there too much computer control involved for something like that to work?
The knob Geno's sells with the built in switch indicates in the catalog that after 2005 the shift lever wasn't hollow, is there a workaround, perhaps swapping gear shift levers, etc. ?
