E-break

Why are e-breaks so expensive? It looks like a very simple product. A potatoe in a tailpipe with some electronics to make it turn on and off.

How much is a brake job? I've literally stopped using my service brakes and I commute over a mountain road. I think over the life of the truck, the exhaust brake is a very cheap (pays for itself) add-on. Now how do I keep my tires from wearing out!

I agree with dresslered. I too have all but stopped using my service brakes. I got my Pac-Brake somewhere??? I can't remember. But I got it at a great price. Katdiesel helped me find it one day. I'll see if I can find them again. I think it was www.cdtrv.com. If it wasn't I'll check.
