e-mail classified scam??

is this a scam, i have a truck listed for sale on ramchargercentral. i had an interested fellow so i sent him a reply with a phone number, and this is what i get. .



(Thanks for your response,I have spoken to my client and he has instructed me to inform you that payment will get to you in a cashier check of $6,650 which is a refund payment of a cancelled order earlier made by my client. so you are required to deduct cost of the 68 w200 4x4, 383 manual i. e $3,300 when payment gets to you and refund balance $3,350 to my Agent via western union money transfer for him to be able to offset shipping charges. Since I reside in Fulham,London.

After payment has reached you and balance sent back to him,our agent will come and pick up receipt of sale and take it to the airport for delivery down to my country,while receipt, papers and other necessary documents will be sent to you via fedex courier to my customer. My client could send the check to you through fedex courier immediately. Please forward your full name! s, address and phone number. )

(this sounds like a scam. the only way i am selling this truck if someone comes to my house with a truck and trailer and cash to pick it up. i am not bieing a middle man and transfering "fake" money for someone across the pond. please pardon my rudeness, mitch)



so is this a scam? and like i told him i will only sell the truck if it is picked up with cash.

Yes, it's a scam.

It's a scam. They send you a real cashier's check that will not clear the bank. You send them your real $$ and 2 weeks later when their cashier's check dosent come up roses your out the 3k you sent to them.



If this happens to me I would be curious to take their cashier's check and then have the bank check it or try and and alert the police in the UK or whatever country they use.



Just dont send them any $$
