Just remember they are exactly where you left them last.

I may or may not have been witness to a 60 hp tractor destroy a 3 pt hitch mounted snow blower because someone through bolted with the next smaller sized bolt. It worked. Until it didn't :eek:

I heard grade 8 bolts make for good replacements :D:D

I recently took a new job in the University I work at - I'm now he shop manager - was a totally different department before. Shop manager means I do all the work (or send it out) since they no longer have another person in the shop. In getting stuff ready for snow I found there are 2 Steiner snow blower attachments. One has the auger all bent up (can you say put away wet). The other just needed some small stuff. The first one had a grade 8 sheer bolt (should be grade 2), the other had a grade 5 bolt.
I have NOT become amazed at all the crap I've found like that from the previous guy.

@Dan_69GTX , When I was working lawn and garden sale/service shop, we had people with everything in their busted up snow-throwers! All types of bolts but the best were the ones that had roll pins in the shear bolt holes! Heard the same excuse all the time, "I needed to get the wife's car out for her". I laughed and said it was cheaper and quicker to buy new thrower since they busted the gear boxes!!!!!!!!
