If you watch Ron Pratt’s videos he frequently explains the laws in MO regarding that exact scenario.

It looks like from the many of his videos I’ve watched following the law and professional approach to towing and recovery is job 1 for them.

He has a very professional and responsible approach to what he does.

As far as I know, "running code" for a wrecker is not allowed in most places. Years ago here in Connecticut wreckers used to have red warning lights. Somewhere around 1980 the law was changed to require only amber warning because many people confused them with emergency vehicles. I can see where running code could be important but I think I there's too much room for abuse. Not to mention traffic congestion in the northeast is terrible.

Folks,

Ron has explained running Code 3 on many of his videos and I believe he has a desk Q&A session where he quotes the law as it applies but in this video opening scenes he runs code and the titles explain the situation. And he has video using a Q Siren on the rotator. Remember this is MO laws, your states laws, I'm clueless as usual.

Hey Mike, what ya got in your monday am JOTD after that NE'er blew thru?
