Today's headline irony...it's not as long as the pickup but doubt it's any lighter...

First Production 2024 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1 SUV Raises $500,000 for Tread Lightly! at Barrett-Jackson

Of course it is!
If it's got a dead battery and nowhere to charge it: it's Tread Lightly!
If it's in the shop for non-stop electrical problems again: it's Tread Lightly!

It is sad and funny because it is so true. The CDL requirement varies by state. TX and PA have non-commercial class A licenses that parallel a CDL-A. They include large RVs and privately used cargo trailers. The only difference I can see is the medical card requirement. Some states require CDL-As for non-commercial rigs because they are too lazy to institute a non-commercial class A. Some exempt RVs altogether. I once got away with pulling a deckover flatbed with TX farm tags (limited to seasonally harvested agricultural products or livestock from the place of production to the place of processing, market, storage: or farm supplies from the place of loading to the farm) from TX to MA, then to WA where it was parked until it got the correct tags. I got away with it because LEOs can't keep up with the myriad of different states' laws and don't try.
