tips on posting pics

I have not been getting e-mail notifications. I normally would get notifications when some one would reply to my posts. Any body else experiencing this?

e-mail receipts

Until yesterday I was getting notified of responses to posts I participated in. I didn't receive any today but that is not unusual. Check your CP edit options, I think there is a place there for receiving e-mail notification.

Jeff, it looks like your ISP has started to refuse mail from the TDR server (I checked the logs). Look in the website forum and you'll find a number of threads there regarding this. Your ISP has probably recently added SPAM blocker software that sometimes gets email notifications confused as SPAM. Contact your ISP and ask them about it. In my case I was able to put turbodieselregister.com on a list on my ISP's spam blocker software as one to allow through. If you don't get anywhere with your ISP let me know and I'll try to contact them.

Okay, here's a new one - I'm getting notifications of people posting in threads I've posted in, and when I click on the link in the email, it goes to the thread, but the new post isn't showing. It just happened a few minutes ago. I posted in the "Dixie Chicks" thread earlier this morning, and now, as I check my mail it says someone else has posted, but I'm still the most recent post according both the thread and the info outside the thread. Has anyone else had this problem?

It could also be that someone posted and then deleted their post. Also, you could have a cache system installed that is loading the pages from the cache. Internet "speed up" software does this as do some internet sharing packages.

No, it tells me another member has posted a message.

I'll try checking into the cache thing, that may be it.

Thanks, Scott
