They are finally here and on the truck. I went with the 18X9. 5 Eagle 114's for the back spacing and they look great. I wanted the Toyo's but could not find any, so I did some research and desided to try the Procomp Xtreme AT's. These tires are E rated and I could not find any one that had these tires on their truck so I opted to be the first.
So far, just 100 miles, they ride great. They are quieter than the BFG's I took off. They Balanced real well, one tire had to have 4 ounces of lead the others took very little. The tires I went with were the 325X65/18, this equates to 35X13. 50X18. These are monsters. I have yet to find a picture that did them any justice. You can put your finger in between any of the lugs on this tire, an AT tire with a MT looks.
Ok, so the question every one is going to have is how much do they stick out past the wheel well? The wheels are 9. 5" wide with 6" back spacing, that already sticks them out 1. 75" (1. 5 for the wheel and . 25 for the back spacing), the tires are 1" wider so the figure I come up with is they stick out 2. 25" more. I will have pictures later, but for now I will tell you that you can take a 2x4 board and sit it on it's edge (1. 5" side) on top of the tire (while on the truck) and it will stay there.
These tires have an 11" foot print, and I have no more rubbing with these than with the BFG's. I will be installing a KORE Chase system soon. Oo.
