I just mounted my stock Michelins on a set of Eagle 118's. The reason I did this is because my father in law got a good deal on them so he bought 8. He gave me a set of 4 so I went down to Les Schwaab on Friday and had my stock tires mounted on them, figured I would run them in the summer. I knew before I put them on that the offset wouldn't be right, but I really don't like the way they look. Also the next morning one of them was almost flat, The wheel has a hole in the casting. I need to go to the distributor and get that one replaced. I had to put my other wheels on to get me throught the weekend.

Does anyone know if eagle makes a wheel in a 17 X 8 with a 6" backspacing that I might be able to exchange these for. Please let me know if you have any ideas in how I might be able to get somewheels that won't stick out so far.

Thanks, Joe

JCasper according to Eagle's specs they're 4. 4" backspace, stock is 6. 0" for comparison so it means they sit out 1. 6" compared to stock.

Unfortunately you're SOL finding the right offset from Eagle 'cause they don't even have anything in the ballpark. I would return them and reinstall the stockers, or go with this wheel from Centerline: http://www.centerlinewheels.com/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=18&sw_id=92

They have a HD version they just came out with that's not listed on their website. It's 17x8. 5" with 6" backspace meaning your wheels will stick out just 1/2" further than stock.
