I wonder how the new Ford Earthroamer is making out. I had read the TDR article a couple issue's back where the owner explained how he was switching over from a Dodge 2500 to a Ford 450 or 550 for his new truck. His reason was he needed the extra payload the Ford offered.
Also, if my memory serves me correctly his new 2003 Ford had a 6. 0 Powerstroke under the hood. Now I know for sure, I would be pretty ticked off, if out in the middle of nowhere, I ended up with a crankcase full of diesel, romp romps, injector failure, a truck that won't start, dead pedal, or any of the other 6. 0 ailments.
I know this fellow wrote articles for the TDR but I don't know if he is a full fledged TDR member or "former" member. If someone know's how his Ford is holding up please let us know.
