Gateway TDR and GDOA meeting for September and October

I already talked to Bart and Brian at Hi-Tech. (did some custom exhaust work on a truck for them) I'm gonna go for something in early to mid october again for a 3rd annual Dyno day at Hi-Tech. I ahve to get my saturday work schedule figured out and I'll get something (wrench day) set up here in about a month.

LOL... . I knew it was comming! Good god this job takes alot out of me some days! I'm not so sure I like the every other weekend thing! Once I get everything figured out... We'll have a Wrench day/BBQ/ Party like the last one. People had fun, we just need to pick a date when more people can make it!

Josh

PS, I may talk to my boss about doing something at the lot on a Sunday, or later saturday afternoon..... etc. I wish I could find a portable Dyno again... . I mentioned it to him once... he sounded interested..... Oo. :-laf

You know how haydays is Spicy... ya never know what you're lookin for. I wouldn't mind finding an M7 for cheap if I could sell one of our sleds. Otherwise, it all depends on the price. ;) A sunday meet would more than likely work for me.

Sorry, Osceola days have been around as long as Hay Days so I know they are not going to switch. Besides our snowmobile club is very well aware that Hay Days is happening the same weekend, that is why we run our sled pull that Friday night, (ya can't get into Hay Days Friday night). Then most head over around midnight to sit in line if they are selling for the weekend. I will probably go Sunday to Hay Days, I have a few people I need to let know I am still alive that come from out west. Later Jim.

Last year they started to let people in on friday night. It was kind of a surprise. I'm going to see if a couple of buddies would tag along to the pulls or if one of them would get in line, in case they let them in early like last year. I'd like to see you guys beat up on the competition.

well i went pulling lastnight and after getin waxed by 2 d-max's and 2 bank's trucks, all of which had weight brackets. I NEED A DAMN WEIGHT BRAKET! the d-max boys had 1200 lbs on the front. one of them which i plow snow with has a 4 in lift and the weights were all of 2 in off the ground. so im gonna make one up befor the pull... ... ... . should be interesting to see how my front end likes it. i took 6th out of 10 truck class not cool seeing as how i beat all of these guys when they dont run a weight braket.

They won't let us run a weight bar in our pull, just weight in the box that is it. Sorry :(

I know what you mean, what happened to the rules. I just pulled last thursday night and one of the guys had a 1000lbs hanging on the front, he beat me by 3 inches and i've been smoking him all year, i don't mind it in the open class but in street stock it's a little rediculous. used to be dot tires stock turbo and any weight had to be in the box guess not any more?

You gonna bolt 1'' plate steel along the frame rails and behind the bumper?

Josh

damn it you caught me... . i was gonna use them to act like a fly wheel... ... store the energy of the rotating mass... ..... right

Andy

Speaking of wheel weights im gonna go put them on the lil massey and run wheelies up and down the road Oo.

Fat Kid, I don't think there were any rules. You have pulled there before, it is a blast and if you get any grief I will get it straightend out. BTW I went through Star Prarie last Friday, the Peak Performace boys were playing with there NOS trucks, even though they are 3rd Gens. They are talking alot of smack through the rumor mill, but Scott has told me he knows they run NOS and will make sure it is not on, (connected)..... I know Power Grizz last year thought NOS should not be allowed, so I am just passing it along.

Also I am bringing this back to the top because the time is getting closer. Kind of wanted to get some kind of a head count, as well as who is planning on crashing at my place for the night. Next I guess for those that are crashing are some heading to Hay Days?, do some want to party Saturday night?, guess I just go with the flow... ... ... . hey I aim to please.
