After studying the wiring schematic in the manual for a while I found that you can remove the fog light #2relay from the power disturabation box and make a 11/2" jumper with a male spade on each end one of which has to be as narrow as the relay spade and plug in to the #3 and #4 terminals from which the relay came from . The terminal numbers are on the bottom of the relay which should be the center two terminals, and then the fogs stay on even on high beam.

Is that true of all models with the factory fogs?

For you all who have installed the kit from Mopar Parts, the relay is under the dash. Just unplug the wire that controls the relay from the hi-beam circuit. The relay is a normally closed relay and the hi-beam opens the relay where you don't get the fogs with the hi-beams on.

Hey Bill, I've got a 99. Is the layout the same. I'm under the impression that all I have to do is disconnect that wire. Where under the dash is it located and if it applies, what color is the wire? TIA.

Not going to sit here and tell you your wrong, but on my Y2K I've had mine done since the day I owned it. I went to the fuse box under the hood and pulled the relay. I put a jumper between terminals 3 and 5. On my truck termanal 4 is blank. Who knows, they change them every model year.

I followed ramman's directions and it works great. I have been wanting to do this for awile. Next up will be the Bright Box and some PIAAs.

I have a '96 truck. I jumped terminals #3 and #5 on Fog Lamp Relay #1 (according to the shop manual layout) to keep the fog lamps on with the high beams.
