2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Easy way to remove driver seat cover?

Hi. I want to get my truck's driver seat repaired due to the damage on the left side so common on these trucks. Is there an easy way to remove the seat bottom? I'm having my wife sew in a new piece using the old as a template. I'll probably use strong marine vinyl in a color close to the right side. I'm tired of having a nice looking truck with foam padding hanging out when you open the door. Thanks, Herb

4 , 10mm bolts is all that holds it on... . grab a mirror and flashlight, pops out in 5 mins.

Do the four bolts hold the cover cloth only or the seat bottom? It's cold out and I want to be quick! LOL

no problem,



dont forget to add a thin carpet under your foam and where those support wires are visisble from the bottom, it will support better and stop them from cutting the foam.



also if all your wires are broke like most are... on one seat I used HD HVAC ductwork pull ties in place of the wire for support, worked slick and I could set the tension I wanted real easy.
