2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ECM Problem I think? No rpm or speedo no OD

I have lost Speedometer and RPM guages as well as wait to start lights. Overdrive doesn't work and it also doesn't charge (no Alternator). No light on the OD button seems to have gone into a limp mode. Anybody run across this before?



I can still start it and drive it.



Any good sources for another ECM if that is the problem?



1997 4x4 2500 with auto transmission.

Have you checked all your fuses, grounds, grounding straps and battery cables?



Good place to start looking. Strange that so much would go wrong at once.

Same thing happend to me, it was the PCM or the ECM whichever is the non-cummins part, it was about 400 some bucks. I found one on the internet, I will check to see if I can find the companys web page, and post it here.

Since it is a 97 my crankshaft position senor went out and no OD,no charging and tach went south. Three wires to the sensor on top of the harmonic balencer.

its the crank sensor or PCM, try crank sensor first its cheaper
