ATS manifold cap screws keep backing out

Anyone use the Pillar Mount for the Edge Attitude , How does it fit? My truck has pull up handles to help you get in and out and I dont see how the pillar sleve they show will fit?

Here is a pic, if fits right below the grab handle, you don't have to remove the handle.

I love it, perfect spot for it.

One thing to be aware of with that mount is that you remove and discard the lower OEM A pillar bolt, then replace it with a Phillips screw. Not a big deal unless you are a heavy dude and use that handle. The new screw moves the securing point out to the end where there is not allot of support for it and weakens the handle mounting.

It looks nice though. The mount Edge supplies with a Duramax Attitude looks pretty nice IMO and much better than the bent "L" bracket they supply for the Dodge.

I will see if I can get a pic of that one, maybe Edge would include it for a small fee.

Yes the L bracket is pretty cheezy, and ok so i got a problem cause Im 270 ibs and use that handle, can I modify to put the OEM bolt back in?

I am 270 also and have had no problems thus fur, about 10,000 miles worth. I also have about a 4" lift from stock with the Kore and 315, so I use it regularly.

Yes, you could install 2 nuts and flat washer on that screw so the nuts & washer seats the A Pillar while the top of the screw head holds just the Attitude mount.

Simply lock the 2 nuts at the same location the OEM bolt head is at.

Just something I noticed when I did one for a friend but sounds like JCrockett's is doing fine.

The Attitude A-Pillar mount did screw mine up. It is loose at the top now. I removed it and put the original bolt back in, but something stretched or pulled out so that the top of the A-Pillar moves out about 3/8 in away from headliner. I have tried a couple of times to tighten back up, but I think probably need new one. It's not bad and feels sturdy again, but does **** me off. BTW I weigh about 160lbs, but I use the grab handle all the time. OH WELL! The TST seems stronger anyway.

One thing to watch out for is the A Pillar threads. DC uses a thread insert and if tightened too much will break loose from the Pillar and just spin so you cant tighten or remove the handle.

I did some major surgery on my 03 for that trouble and posted some pics here.

Here is a pic of that GM mount-

Swivel on both ends with set screws. Double back tape on both ends and you can also secure with screws if you want. The prongs in the middle serve as a cable guide.

I was looking at how this might be used on a Dodge and see it would mount nicely to the left front corner floor section of the cubby and then swivel to the left and up at the driver. It would put the Attitude between the cubby and the cig lighter. This would leave the cubby open for use. If I were to use an Attitude I might seriously consider that. Screwing the base down through the rubber cubby floor piece would be pretty stealth for removal.

That dual swivel mount is what came with my original Juice/Attitude purchase early this year. It is kind of cheezy and would probably require the screws be used to keep it attached, but is certainly would work and give flexibility in adjustment.

I had the swivel thing. It's a piece o' crap. It will sag on a warm day and you have to constantly readjust it to keep it in a good spot. The glue stuff is also a beotch to remove from the pillar once you decide to toss it. The pillar or OH console mount are the way to go.

I'll sell ya my pillar mount for $625 and you'll get a Juice with Attitude for free. Oo.
