Prior to installing my Edge Attitude w/HOT Juice I had a Painless Performance Striker 2 (pressure) module. It has several power levels; E (economy), 0 (stock), 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. It's a great little module that installs in 5 minutes and offers in-cab adjustability. The added power can definately be felt and it added another 2-3mpg if I kept my foot out of it. The truck had to go to the dealer for a trans issue, so I removed the module. After getting the truck back from the dealer I had my Edge Attitude w/Juice within a week so the Striker 2 never made it back in the truck. It was tossed in a box in the garage after I removed it and forgotten about. Lately I have been thinking of an Edge EZ to stack on my Juice. Thankfully I never went ahead and dropped the $480 on the EZ because I had the Striker 2 I could have been using all along!

Today after work I reinstalled the Striker 2. After the 5 minute install I took the truck for a ride. The Striker 2 made a very noticeable power increase on the low end and mid range. The smoke output has been increased quite a bit with the Juice on 6x5 and the Striker 2 on 5!

I'm definately in need of a fuel system upgrade as I could drain the rail on level 6 with the Juice alone!

not only did you have a typo in the subject line but your profile says stinger as well haha... . how do you like the stack? Thinking of a turbo down the road?

So far the stack seems to work well. On level 5 the Striker 2 adds 65hp. It adds that much more flexibility how much power I can add to the truck. I can actually add 65hp to the truck with the Striker 2 on 5 even if the Juice is on the "stock" setting. Having the Juice on 3 and the Striker on 5 is like having the Juice on 5 but with the added down low power of the pressure module. I like being able to not only add power, but add it to the bottom end. I can get the truck moving quicker with a less throttle opening.

A converter, input shaft, VB, turbo, FASS and if need be, CP3 mods are in the future.

Couple of questions for turbonatr, Im thinking of upgrading to the Hot Juice and pos. the striker but I'm concerned with EGT's. I've got the homemade PSM intake, AFE drop in S/S, cool blue hose and I'm getting a CFM+ with grid delete. Also looking at the AirDog 150, so with these mods will I be able to keep my EGT's in check with the Hot upgrade alone. Did your AirDog keep you from draining the rail? The only other item I may install is a Silverline 4in turbo back system sans kitty. Thanks in advance for your input.

There's no way you'll drain the rail with the AirDog 150. It's a great investment.

I have over 10K on this stack with zero problems. No codes thrown. They ahve worked flawless together for me!

Thanks for the input, I think I've decided on the DTT S/S plenum and grid delete and AirDog 150 before the HOT in that order. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row to have everything work (EGT wise). Thanks again and I'll report back when I get it all installed.

Your EGTs are still going to be high, especially if you still have the stock turbo. The stock turbo can't get ahead of the EGTs with the power on 6. Temps go even higher with the Striker. The power also blows through the stock converter.

How high are they? I'm also considering water/meth to help out and possibly a turbo in the future, PS I've already got a DTT trans. :-laf

How high? Well, I don't have the balls to keep my foot down once the EGT's pass 1600*. It's gets toasty quickly when the power levels are up on the Juice and the Striker.

You will be amazed by how much the Striker picks up the bottom end, though. With the Juice on 6 and the Striker on 5, there is definately no shortage of power. There IS a shortage of traction, though!:-laf

Do you have an upgraded converter in addition with the DTT trans? If so, you should be fine then.

Yeah it's a full DTT with billet input shaft and hub. With 1600 looks like a turbo will be in the works. Thanks, Ryan.
