<trans> How much for that warranty?

Thought ya'all might be interested in this. I saw a post a while ago on a member who mounted his Edge box inside the ash tray.

I don't smoke, so I figured this would make sense. A dremmel tool and trial and error is all it took.

Anyone interested, I may be able to make a template to elminate the trial and error.

Take a look: (if I attached the pics correctly)

I did the same thing :D

I had to gut the ash tray but as you said I dont smoke so I dont care. ;)

I like to have it hidden but within reach for easy adjustment.

Excellent job. Nice and clean.

I would consider it, but I am a smoker. I have to have a place to put my pipe (not "that" type of pipe:) ) when I am done with it.

I just used a dremel and eyeballed what needed to be cut away, then made a slit on each side so I could put a tie wrap through the slits and around the box to hold it in place.

Throw the pennys on the wifes dresser, and put the other coins in the console coin slots.

Sweet, Might just do that to mine... ... but where would I put the spare change. :)

I think that is what I will do with mine when I replace the EZ. I have the same issue with pocket change. :D I wouldn't mind putting it out in the open, but my brake controller is already where I would like to put the comp box

Mine is on the top of the ashtray slot

I think edge should have a mount for the comp box for other install options Velcro is not my idea of long term install.

the hidden location is nice. You guys do nice work. I just mounted mine in the dash,to the left of the HVAC control dial. It was a PITA ,but it looks good, and its at eye level. If anyone is afraid of hogging out the dash dont do this job,it requires drilling some plastic out behind the dash bezel.
